A corn 🌽🦶🏻is a small, thickened area of skin that forms when skin is repeatedly rubbed or pressed, usually on the toes or bottoms of the feet. Their structure has a hard center surrounded by red, sensitive skin. Generally, corns form as a defense against constant irritation from improperly fitting shoes, poor foot mechanics, or pressure points.
