🟢 Green Movement Week 🟢
As part of the Live To The Fullest Festival, from April 13 to 19, Cogir residences across Canada will come alive during a week dedicated to physical activity and the joy of movement.

Zumba Gold, yoga, disco or line dancing, stretching, and much more will be offered to promote coordination, vitality, and a positive mindset. 🧘‍♀️

Everyone will be able to choose the activities that suit them best and fully enjoy a wonderful week in motion - because what truly matters is staying active!

Our lobby turned into a little art studio this afternoon 🎨🌸

The ladies joined in for a painting session, creating whatever was in their hearts, many inspired by beautiful spring flowers.

It brought back those carefree, kid-like moments, and we had so much fun along the way. And wow… we discovered we have some truly talented artists in the residence! 💛

Creativity is alive and well at Lakeshore.

We spent a lovely afternoon at Quail’s Gate Winery 🍷✨

A nice glass of wine, great company, and that view… absolutely stunning. The landscape never disappoints 🌿

It was the perfect little happy hour escape, and now we’re already dreaming about coming back in the summer. Sunshine on our faces and a crisp glass of white wine in hand ☀️🥂

Safe to say, we’ll be back!

We had SUCH a fun day here at Lakeshore 🐣💛

First, we got creative and painted some seriously beautiful eggs (honestly… some of them belong in a museum 😄).

Then Happy Hour kicked in… and let’s just say it turned into a bit of a dance party 💃🕺 No complaints there!

And the best part? An egg hunt all around the residence filled with little treats. Our residents were on a mission, and absolutely loved it. Felt like being kids again 🥚✨

Lots of laughs, lots of fun, and a really great day all around.

Each month, a program of varied and engaging activities will invite residents to get moving and share enriching moments in a festive and welcoming atmosphere.

Breaking news from Lakeshore Place: we officially have the cutest new residents in town 🐣

For the past 3 weeks, we’ve been playing “Chicken Watch 2026” with our little incubator. Our residents checked on the eggs daily like proud grandparents, monitoring, encouraging, and probably whispering “you got this” through the shell.

And guess what… THEY HATCHED! 🎉

Our tiny chickies have officially made their grand entrance into the world (and into our hearts). We’ll be keeping them with us for about a week so everyone can watch them grow, fluff up, and show off their surprisingly big personalities for such small creatures.

Safe to say, these little fluff balls are bringing a whole lot of life, laughter, and smiles to Lakeshore. Who knew something so small could cause this much joy… and this much excitement over p**p duty? 😂

What a fun day out for our Lakeshore crew! ✈️☕

We started with a cozy stop at the Convair Café for some coffee and a bite (because let’s be honest… adventures are always better with snacks 😉).

Then we headed over to the CF Centre of Excellence where our residents got to learn all about aircrafts, and yes, they even got to step into the cockpit! 🤩 Safe to say, there were some very excited “pilots” in the room.

Lots of smiles, curiosity, and a few dreams of flying sparked today 💙

What a day at Lakeshore! 💙

We had an amazing, funny, and productive residents meeting today. It’s always so valuable to hear feedback and ideas, and we’re excited to put them into action to keep making our community even better.

A big congratulations to Michelle & Macrina for being our Employees of the Month! 🎉 Thank you both for your dedication, flexibility, and for showing up every day with a smile, you truly make a difference.

And of course… we had to celebrate April Fools 😄
Fares (our General Manager) got caught with a fish on his back 🐟, but he didn’t let that slide, he told everyone we’re building a pool in the backyard! Let’s just say there were a few confused faces before the laughs kicked in 😂

Moments like these are what make Lakeshore so special 💛

What a sweet success our Monthly Birthday Happy Hour turned out to be! 🎉

From the moment the music started, the dance floor was full, our residents showed us all how it’s really done. 💃🕺 And yes… even our very own Activity Manager, Megan, couldn’t resist joining in (we’ll be expecting an encore next month 👀).

We celebrated all of our wonderful March birthdays with laughter, great company, and of course, a beautifully delicious cake crafted by our talented Chef. 🍰

Moments like these are what make Lakeshore Place feel like home, full of joy, connection, and just the right amount of dancing.

Already looking forward to the next one! 💛

Yesterday, we kicked off our monthly Wine Club, and what a wonderful start it was! This month’s theme was France, where our residents enjoyed three different French wines, each thoughtfully paired with a small plate.

It was a lovely afternoon filled with laughter, stories, and great conversation, some even shared memories of their trips to France! 🇫🇷✨

A special thank you to our chef, who made the whole experience even more memorable 🧑🏼‍🍳

We’re so happy to see how much everyone enjoyed it, and we can’t wait to explore a new country next month.
