Join us twice weekly for a Drop-in online open studio group focused on anxiety relief, self-care, and creative expression. This group is ideal for adults (25+) who experience daily stress or are simply seeking a quiet, welcoming space to create and decompress.

🌿 Creating with Sustainable Materials in Art Therapy 🌿

This experiential workshop is for individuals interested in exploring art making using sustainable materials within an ecological art therapy framework. It critically examines the environmental impact of conventional art materials and explores eco-friendly alternatives. Participants will experiment with a diverse range of materials, including found, recycled, and nature-based sources, within the therapeutic context.

The workshop format includes facilitated discussions, relevant readings, hands-on artmaking, and self-reflective activities. Participants are asked to dedicate a total of six hours to self-directed experiential homework outside of class. No prior art experience or specialized materials are necessary; participants will use readily available materials from their homes and environments.

This workshop can be used towards the 30-hour admission requirement for enrollment in the online hybrid delivery of the Kutenai Art Therapy Institute diploma program.

For each workshop in our intro series we reserve one seat, free-of-charge, for a BIPOC registrant planning to attend the KATI diploma program in the following school year. Click Register for the workshop of your choice to claim the seat, if still available.
