September 15 to 19 was Resident Council Week 2025. Pinecrest is so proud of our Resident Council and the difference they have made to Pinecrest Home. It takes a team effort to work together for positive outcomes. The home celebrated the residents all week through various activities and the council hosted a ‘Meet & Greet’.
Residents even designed their own stickers to celebrate this year’s Resident Council Week!

Huge shout out to the dogs from “Pawsativity” … residents were entertained with an agility dog show. WHAT A HIT! Residents were in love! 🥰

Today we celebrated our volunteers by serving up some fish tacos, fries and dessert!

Hat’s off to staff Deb Gosse and her knitting and crochet group “A Good Yarn”. The residents completed a ‘Dish Cloth’ quilt and Deb entered it into the Kenora Agricultural Fair. What a wonderful job; we are bursting with pride. Deb has been with the Recreation Program at Pinecrest for a number of years now and will soon be retiring in October - she is our star ⭐️ knitting and crochet leader; their will be a big void here when she departs from us.
