Wishing Everyone a Safe First Day of School!

From all of us at Annapolis Valley Home Care, we’d like to wish students, parents, teachers, and bus drivers a wonderful and safe first day back to school.

As our communities get a little busier this week, here are some important safety tips for everyone:

Watch for Crosswalks – Always stop for children crossing the street and obey crossing guards.

School Bus Safety – Remember: when red lights are flashing, STOP from both directions.

Slow Down in School Zones – Be extra alert during drop-off and pick-up times.

No Distractions – Keep phones down and eyes on the road.

Talk With Kids – Remind them about road safety, looking both ways, and staying visible.

Let’s all do our part to keep our community’s children safe as they start another exciting year of learning.
