Heat Wave Alert – Stay Safe & Cool!

Over the next two days, the Annapolis Valley is expected to experience a heat wave, with temperatures expected to rise quickly.

At Annapolis Valley Home Care, we want to remind all of our clients, families, and community members to take extra care during this time:

💧 Drink lots of water even if you don’t feel thirsty
🏠 Stay indoors during the hottest part of the day (11 AM – 4 PM)
🧊 Keep fans or AC running if you have them
👒 Wear light, loose-fitting clothing
📞 Check in on loved ones, especially seniors and those living alone
