🎉 BIG EXCITING NEWS FOR 2026! 🎉

We’re starting the year off with some amazing new additions to our training facility and safety equipment, and we couldn’t be more excited to share them with you!

As we continue our mission to provide leading, high-quality home care services to clients and families across the communities we serve, we’ve invested in several new pieces of training and safety equipment to better support our incredible care team.

Here’s what’s new in our training facility:

• A brand new sit-to-stand transfer lift.
• A full ceiling lift installed in our training bedroom.
• A full ceiling lift installed in our training bathroom.

We’ve also added important safety equipment for our office and caregivers:

• A ZOLL AED.
• A LifeVac emergency airway device.
• Fire Blankets & Extinguishers for our training kitchen.

These new tools allow us to provide even better hands-on training for our caregivers, helping ensure we continue delivering the safe, compassionate, and high-quality care our clients deserve every single day.

As a locally owned family business, our mission to care for our community means everything to us, and investing in our team and their training is a big part of that commitment.

❤ BIG NEWS FOR 2026 ❤ - Please share and help celebrate these outstanding Caregivers!

At Annapolis Valley Home Care, we are rolling out a revamped way to celebrate the incredible people who make everything possible, our CAREGIVERS.

Every quarter in 2026, we will be recognizing two standout team members for:

Best Attendance: Caregiver who misses the least number of scheduled shifts.

Most Accepted Shifts: Caregiver who accepts the most shifts outside of their regular schedule.

Each recognition includes a certificate for their file and a $200.00 bonus.

Our caregivers go above and beyond every single day, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

As we wrap up another incredible year, we want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our clients and their loved ones for trusting us throughout 2025. Your support and confidence in our team means the world to us, and we’re truly grateful to be a part of your care journey.

This year was a big one. In 2025 we proudly provided over 100,000 hours of care. To put that into perspective, if all of those hours were provided continuously, one after another, it would equal more than 10 years of service. That’s an incredible milestone, and we could not have done it without our amazing team. To our caregivers and staff, thank you for your dedication, compassion, and hard work every single day. We appreciate you more than words can say.

As we head into the new year, we are wishing you and your families a happy, healthy, and peaceful New Year. We look forward to continuing to support you in 2026 and beyond.
