I started this journey in October 2025.
At the time, I barely recognized myself.
25 pounds heavier. Constantly exhausted. Waking up through the night. Irregular cycles. Moody. Inflamed. Mentally drained and running on empty.
Deep down, I knew something wasnāt right.
So I reached out to Amy, a functional health practitioner, and after reviewing my results she told me they ālit her screen up like a Christmas tree.ā
And honestly? I wasnāt even shocked.
My body had been trying to tell me for a long time.
I thought I just needed more motivation or discipline.
What I actually needed was support and understanding of what was happening internally.
I started learning about the connection between the gut and brain, hormones, inflammation, liver function, mitochondria, nervous system regulation ā and how deeply everything in the body is connected.
I learned how processed foods, stress, toxins, poor sleep, and nutrient deficiencies can create a domino effect in the body. Especially when your liver is overloaded and your body is struggling to keep up.
So I began intentionally supporting my body instead of neglecting it:
⢠Whole nutritious meals
⢠Proper supplementation
⢠Intentional movement
⢠Nervous system regulation
⢠Prioritizing sleep and minerals
⢠Detoxing what no longer served me physically and mentally
⢠Eliminating toxins from my home and products as much as possible
As someone who already built a non-toxic business, that lifestyle shift actually came easier because I already understood how much our environment impacts our health.
And while I still have a ways to go, this progress deserves to be acknowledged and celebrated too.
Because this was never just about weight loss.
It was about healing.
Feeling like myself again.
Having energy again.
Wanting to participate in my own life again.
Sometimes healing starts the moment you stop dismissing your symptoms and finally trust your gut.
