Just yesterday, two remarkable women received their BRMT certificate after finishing their first course on primitive reflexes. Their mission is to equip women and children in their war-torn country with hope and survival skills. I'd appreciate it if you could join me in praying for their safety, that they can make a difference in their community using the techniques they've learned.

Congratulations to Two Remarkable Women A ...

Congratulations to Two Remarkable Women
A huge congratulations to these two extraordinary ladies from Iran, Dr. Zahra Afazeli and Dr. Firouzeh Roosta, for successfully completing the online training of BRMT Level One on Primitive Reflexes. Despite facing various internet challenges and obstacles in their country, they devoted their full attention during our sessions, knowing that the BRMT movements they were learning would enhance the lives of individuals in Iran.

Dr. Blomberg would take immense pride in their commitment to helping expectant mothers and their children integrate their reflexes, allowing them to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

I am excited to begin the online Level Two course, which will explore the reflexes that profoundly impact our emotions, such as the Fear Paralysis reflex, the Moro reflex, and the Tendon Guard reflex. Together, we will discover calming techniques that can be immediately shared with clients and students, promoting a sense of calm and self-awareness while also addressing self-regulation challenges. Let the learning begin!

What an amazing four days of learning about primitive reflexes. Our participants ranged from a speech and language therapist, a Montessori teacher, an occupational therapist, a researcher, and a posturologist! It was an amazing collection of diverse professions all with the same focus, to see how unintegrated reflexes can cause challenges for individuals young and old. Together we learned to test reflexes and look at movements and isometrics to support reflex integration.
What a memorable four days. Thank You.

In a world overwhelmed with high-tech gadgets and sophisticated toys, it’s easy to overlook the potential of simple, everyday items in child development. But who needs fancy toys to develop fine motor skills when you can have just as much fun—and learning—with the simplest of tools?

Embracing simple, everyday items like the humble bread clip, can help children strengthen the muscles in their fingers and hands, which is crucial for tasks like writing and buttoning.

So, next time you finish a loaf of bread, think twice before tossing that clip away—your child’s next adventure in learning might just begin with it!

Drawing the lazy eight pattern, also known as the infinity sign, is a powerful exercise for integrating the left and right hemispheres of the brain. This simple yet effective activity can aid individuals in overcoming challenges related to the visual midline, particularly those with an unintegrated asymmetrical tonic neck reflex (ATNR). By incorporating the lazy eight pattern into daily routines, individuals can develop better integration between the brain’s hemispheres, enhancing both cognitive and motor skills. Stay tuned for additional clips demonstrating how to perform the Lazy 8 and Alphabet 8 exercises.
