“It worked… until it didn’t.”
I hear this a lot from my patients when I ask them what they’ve tried to help their gut (especially with constipation)
➡️A cleanse that gave them relief from bloating while on it
➡️Laxatives that helped them p**p for a while
➡️Cutting out certain foods that seemed to help but was too difficult to maintain
And then the bloating, pain, or constipation returned.
It’s frustrating. And confusing.
Those tools can be helpful. They just aren’t the full process.
Short-term relief is often the first step. But real healing means going deeper.
➡️ It means addressing the root causes.
➡️ And then creating an environment—inside and out—that supports the gut long-term.
Because if the stress, routines, and patterns that overwhelmed your system don’t change...
The symptoms will keep coming back. Not because you failed—but because your gut is still asking for something different.
