Therapy progress isn’t always loud or obvious.
It doesn’t always look like confidence, clarity, or feeling “better.”

Often it looks like:
• noticing sooner
• reacting a little less
• being kinder to yourself
• staying with discomfort instead of escaping it

If therapy feels slow or subtle right now — that doesn’t mean it’s not working.
It might mean something important is actually settling in. 🌱

Save this for the weeks you’re questioning your progress.

It’s easy to measure worth by what you get done, but constant productivity isn’t sustainable. Caring for yourself, pacing your efforts, and respecting your limits create long-term balance. 🌿 Slow and steady isn’t lazy, it’s self-care.

Perfectionism is often mistaken for having “high standards,” but they’re not the same thing.

High standards are guided by values, flexibility, and self-trust.
Perfectionism is driven by fear, shame, and the belief that worth depends on getting it right.

You can care deeply, aim high, and still rest.
Letting go of perfectionism isn’t lowering the bar, it’s removing harm.

Rejecting diet culture doesn’t mean rejecting your health.
It means listening to your body, letting go of food rules and guilt, and caring for yourself in ways that actually feel sustainable. Health comes from balance, not punishment.

Hunger isn’t just a stomach growl.
It can show up as a need for energy, comfort, sensory satisfaction, or simply something that’s easy and accessible.

An anti-diet approach recognizes that all types of hunger are valid—not something to override, moralize, or “fix.” Responding to hunger is a form of care, not a failure of discipline.

Building trust with your body starts with listening, not control.

Just because you show up, get things done, or “function” day-to-day doesn’t mean everything is okay inside.
Struggle can exist quietly behind routines and responsibilities. 🌱

Neurodiversity-affirming therapy isn’t about changing who you are to fit the world.
It’s about understanding your nervous system, reducing harm, and building a life that actually supports you.

This work focuses on accommodation over compliance, regulation over pushing, and safety over performance. There is no pressure to mask, “fix,” or turn strengths into productivity.

You are not the problem.
The goal is support, dignity, and self-trust.

Burnout is often misunderstood as only work-related exhaustion, but it’s more complex than that.

There are different types of burnout, including physical, emotional, cognitive, social, and neurodivergent burnout. Each impacts functioning in different ways and deserves support, not self-blame.

Understanding burnout helps us respond with compassion instead of pushing harder.

Perfectionism often tells us everything must be done right, perfectly, flawlessly.

But your nervous system doesn’t care about perfection, it cares about safety and regulation.

You can get things done without overwhelming yourself. Try to prioritize pacing, grounding, and self-compassion over doing everything perfectly. Doing it safely is the real success.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and that’s normal.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You don’t need to know exactly what to say.
You’re allowed to go at your own pace, to feel nervous, or to wonder if it will “work.”

Showing up is enough. Support exists, and you don’t have to do this alone.
