I have been l debating over how best to make this post without having people assume this is for sympathy or attention. As a 50+ year old woman I am recovering from a second heart attack. The purpose of this post is to make all my ladies aware we present differently. My blood pressure was normal. My EKG was normal. The fatigue that precipitated this MI was crippling. I had no arm pain but my chest and jaw pain were what prompted my trip to the ER. Please listen to your body. It's not going to go away. It's not because you have been " busy lately". It literally can be a life or death decision. Please take care of yourselves❤

This beautiful cedar chest is finally done and for sale! After adding trim to add some interest to an othwise boring 60's cedar chest I played around with a Mandela stencil and saltwash. The result was better than expected and will definitely try this again!

There will be more pictures to follow later this week... but changing a boring box into this beautiful chest was the combination of saltwash, Mango Paint (Xavier) and a large Mandela stencil.

Well 2022 sucked... in a nutshell. What was supposed to be a fairly easy surgery in June turned into a month long stay at the hospital and the last six months trying to recover. This cute piece took far too long but it was my therapy piece, and a great way to kick off 2023! Here's to a better year ahead 😘

This simple pine blanket box got a serious update! New trim, bun feet, boho style handles and a classic black farmhouse paint. Its smaller size will make a perfect coffee table for someone ❤

The curved glass on these cabinets is so unique and rarely survives. Finding one with the front glass broken and two intact curved sides was a score! I've been told that they can't be replaced so taking these out and putting them back in was STRESSFUL! Mission accomplished!😊 I think she's beautiful now❤

There were alot of happy tears this weekend. My beautiful stepdaughter got married and my husband gave his baby girl away. So happy to be part of this day and wishing Amber and Dan a lifetime of happiness. We love you both so much❤

Recently I was given this blanket box to refinish. It was rescued curb side from a lovely lady and wanted it stripped of its paint for a more authentic antique look. The dovetail corners gave away some of its age but the blacksmithed square head nails holding this piece together means that it was made around 1830 at its latest. Honestly the most amazing piece I have worked on to date!
