Hello Amazing Humans!
I am excited to be sharing with you all a new program I will be coordinating with VIRCS (Victoria Immigrant and Refugee Center Society), located here in Victoria, BC. Every Thursday and last Wednesday of the month the clinic will be held (at VIRCS, phone or via zoom). This is a 2SLGBTQIA+ clinic where folks can ask questions, get resources, and much more. The service is for straight, questioning or folks belonging to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Newcomers take priority, however anyone is able to use the service. PM if you have questions. Hello Victoria Humans!!

I am searching for Humans to be panelists for an upcoming workshop series.
This is for VIRCS (Victoria Immigrant and Refugee Center Society)'s ESL class. This is a workshop series of 4 and on the second workshop the topic is on Colonization and its effects on Two-Spirit/ Indigenous LGBTQIA+ folks. The second half of the workshop I am wanting to do a panel with ideally Two-Spirit/ Indigenous LGBTQIA+ folks. Presently I have 1 maybe and 2 possible from Alberta. I prefer to have all local humans for connection to the community and less complex tech. stuff (ie. Zoom).

This workshop will be on Oct. 3rd from 5-7pm (panel from 6-7pm), dntn Victoria. Panelists will receive $30 honorarium from VIRCS.

In the 3rd workshop, Nov. 7th (same time and location) I am doing the workshop on Global colonization, the effects on LGBTQ2SIA+ globally and the effects on LGBTQ2SIA+ newcomers. This panel will consist of LGBTQ2SIA+ Newcomers. I believe I have enough humans for this, however, life happens and sometimes folks need to drop out for whatever reason.

I am wondering if you know of anyone in your circles that are Indigenous LGBTQIA+/ Two-Spirit, LGBTQIA+ New Comers or anyone else who would be ok with being a backup for any of the panels, to have a full 4 humans on each of the panels.

Hello Beautiful Humans!!

AVI Health and Community Services is putting on a Prism Wellness Conference. It will be on June 22 and the focus is on S*x, safer s*x, S*xual Diversity. No Location yet. More details to come.

In the mean time, in order to make this happen we need to have a fundraiser. As such, there will be an event on May 26th. Details we have are on the images below and for more details you can contact details on the second image.

I just finished doing an amazing Training with amazing humans representing 3 non-profits in Greater Victoria. Can't wait until next week for part two of the training! Queering Genograms is two weeks after that!
