*Forestry Excavator Operator* Coastroad Contracting Ltd. Is currently seeking a Experienced Roadbuilder Excavator Operator to join our roadbuilding crew
* 5+ years Coastal road building experience an asset
* Ability to place puncheon to create a drivable surface for ballasting operations
* Experience with basic machine service, refueling, diagnostics and minor repairs
* Wood bridge culvert contruction experience along with chainsaw knowledge and safety as well would be an asset.
* Ability to work with limited supervision.
* Valid BC Driver’s License and clean BC
Driver’s Abstract
* Occupational First Aid is an asset
* Low hour John 3754g/ 3754D’s
* 10-12 hour work day
* 28-14 shift
Full-time/Permanent position, operations in Haida
Gwaii and Fraser Valley currently
Flights to and from YVR, accommodations, and groceries included along with on island transportation.
Union rates $40+ a hour, plus overtime after 8
