Here’s where it started.

A tiny seed was planted after I gave a 3-minute speech at The Life Coach School in 2019.

The topic was courage.

I didn’t know it then, but something shifted in me that day.
The idea of speaking on bigger stages started to whisper a little louder.

And over the years…
that whisper became a calling I couldn’t ignore.

What’s wild is that this is exactly what I help my clients do every day.

Listen to the quiet nudge.
Follow the path even when you don’t know where it leads.
Take the next step before you feel ready.

Because that’s how dreams grow.

It’s been over seven years since the dream of speaking on a TEDx stage was planted in my heart.

And now it’s happening.

Not because I had the whole path figured out…
but because I kept taking the next small step.

If you’re reading this and there’s something on your heart calling you —
but your mind keeps saying “I could never do that” or “It’s too late”…

Please remember this story.

Dreams often take longer than we expect.
But that doesn’t mean they aren’t meant for you.

What’s one small step you could take today toward the dream on your heart?

If you want an accountability partner, tag me.
I’ll be cheering you on from the sidelines. ❤️

Today is International Women’s Day and I found myself reflecting on the incredible women who have supported and lifted me up over the years.

Women who encouraged me.
Women who challenged me.
Women who believed in me before I fully believed in myself.

If I’m honest, many of the things I’ve been able to do in my life happened because another woman came alongside me and helped me rise.

And that’s why today also feels like a beautiful opportunity to shine a light on organizations that are working every day to support and empower women and young girls.

Here are a few that are close to my heart:

✨ — helping women who have been silenced by the misuse of NDAs reclaim their voice.

Each of these organizations is doing meaningful work to help women and girls find healing, confidence, and opportunity.

So maybe one way we celebrate today is by supporting the organizations that support women.

A donation.
Sharing their mission.
Helping more people discover the work they’re doing.

Even small acts can create a ripple.

I’d love to know —
what organization do you support that is helping women and girls flourish?

Share it below. I’d love to highlight them so more people can discover the incredible work being done.

Because when women rise…
communities rise with them.

Hi friends,

This morning I woke up at 3:30 a.m. thinking about my friend Kelsey.

Yesterday Jim and I were going through all the final details for my TEDx talk on March 15, including the tickets we had purchased for family and friends.

One of those tickets was for Kelsey .yogi

She was the one who pushed me — lovingly and firmly — to get on this stage and share my story.

But she’s no longer here with us.💔

And this morning, I had the strongest feeling that she planted an idea in my mind…

Give her ticket away.

So here’s what we’re going to do.

TEDx White Rock is completely sold out, but I have one ticket — Kelsey’s ticket.

And in true Kelsey fashion, I want to give it to someone who spreads a little kindness in the world today.

✨Here’s how to enter:

1️⃣ Do a random act of kindness today
2️⃣ Tag me so I can see it
3️⃣ Use the hashtag (for our friend Kelsey)

Tomorrow I’ll draw one name to receive Kelsey’s ticket to join us.

Event details:
📍 TEDx White Rock
🕐 Doors open 1:30 PM
🎤 Talks begin at 2:00 PM
✨ Nine incredible speakers

I cannot wait to see the kindness that gets spread today in Kelsey’s honour.

Let’s make her proud. 🤍

We had this dream for 30 years before it finally happened.

Last night someone asked me if speaking on stage had always come naturally to me.

The answer?

Yes… and.

Jim and I have had the desire to speak for a very long time. But desire alone doesn’t make something happen.

Practice does.

Raising your hand does.
Joining Toastmasters does.
Doing the uncomfortable thing before you feel ready does.

Too many dreams get shut down by one simple thought:

“I can’t.”

But what if that isn’t actually true?

If there’s something on your heart today that you’ve been thinking about for years… maybe it’s not too late.

Maybe it’s just waiting for you to run for the bus.

And when it finally arrives?

It’s worth the wait.
And it’s worth the work it took to get there.

Practicing for TEDx… in slippers.

In less than two weeks, I’ll step onto the red dot and deliver my TEDx talk.

This photo was taken while I was practicing.

Standing on the red dot…
in my slippers.

I promise I’ll be wearing heels on March 15. 😉

But honestly, this moment captures the journey perfectly.

Because I didn’t know how this would happen.

There was no perfect roadmap.
No master plan.

Just a belief that if a dream is placed on your heart… maybe it’s not random.

Your dream might not be a TED talk.

Maybe it’s writing the book you keep thinking about.
Saving for the family trip.
Starting something new.
Or falling deeper in love with the life you’re building.

Whatever it is — don’t dismiss it.

You don’t need the entire plan.

You only need the willingness to believe it might actually be possible.

Because once your thinking shifts from limitation to possibility…the path begins to reveal itself.

March 15 is getting close.
For those of you coming — I’m deeply humbled. 🤍

And if you’re craving space to get clear on the life you want to create, the next Abundant Life Workshop is April 11.

Have you ever caught yourself thinking…
“There’s not enough.”Not enough time.Not enough money.Not enough support.

I get it. I’ve been there.

But here’s what I’ve learned — when we believe there’s not enough, we start making decisions from that place… and then we unintentionally prove it true.

We overcommit.We avoid.We stay small.

I call this scarcity thinking.
It’s like wearing glasses that only let you see lack.
And if this sounds familiar, you are not wrong — and you are not alone.

The beautiful part? You can shift it.

That’s exactly what we do inside my signature Abundant Life Workshop — practical tools to move from Scarcity Street to Abundant Avenue so you can create a life that feels aligned, clear, and actually possible.

✨ April 11 | 9:00–11:30 AM✨ Early bird pricing is live (save $50)

If you’re ready to stop living from “not enough” and start living from possibility…
Come join us.

You will leave lighter, clearer, and empowered.

There was a time I didn’t speak up.

Not because I didn’t have ideas.
Not because I didn’t care.

But because I was afraid of what people might think.
Afraid of taking up too much space.

And I see this every day in my coaching practice.

Brilliant. Capable. Impact-driven women
holding back.

So being honoured as Chair of the Langley Women’s Business Network — and featured in this Chamber Week article — feels deeply meaningful.

Because this is what we’re doing together:

Creating spaces where women speak up.
Share their ideas.
Lead with confidence.
And stop shrinking to make others comfortable.

Here’s what I know:

When one woman uses her voice, she gives others permission to do the same.

Grateful to be part of a community that is rewriting that story — together.

✨ If you want to experience this community firsthand, join us at our Annual International Women’s Day Lunch on March 11th.
A room full of women supporting women, sharing ideas, and lifting each other up.

I’d love to see you there.

We spend so much energy wishing things were different.
Our kids shouldn’t do that.
Our partner shouldn’t say that.
We shouldn’t feel this way.

And without realizing it… we add a second layer of suffering.

Here’s the reframe I worked through with every client yesterday:
✨ I don’t have to like what’s happening — but it is happening.
And from there, we get our power back.

Not by forcing positivity.
Not by pretending it’s easy.
But by choosing how we want to feel and how we want to show up.

This work isn’t effortless — it’s more like burpees with a personal trainer 😅
Hard in the moment.
Strength-building in the long run.

If this resonates, try it today.
Catch the “shoulds.”
Release the resistance.
And choose your next step with intention. 💛

EEEKKK… it’s officially less than 6 weeks until I step onto the TEDx stage in White Rock 😳✨

March 15 is coming FAST.

I’m so excited (and a little nervous — the good kind) to be part of an incredible roster of speakers at TEDx White Rock.

My talk is titled:Truth Is Making A Comeback

And yes… it’s a little spicy. 🔥
Honest. Bold. And very much a reflection of the work I care deeply about.

If you love powerful stories, big ideas, and conversations that matter — I would love to see you there.

This morning I caught an old belief trying to sneak back in. The kind that shows up fast and familiar.

“I can’t.”
“I don’t belong.”
“That’s not for someone like me.”

I felt it in my body right away — tight, heavy, uneasy.

And what struck me later…
how clearly I can see these moments when it’s happening in my daughter.

I can see instantly when she’s believing something that isn’t true about herself.
I know exactly what I’d say.
How I’d remind her who she is.
How I’d steady her, encourage her, speak truth back to her.

But when it’s us?
It’s harder.
The stories are quieter.
More practiced.
More convincing.

So instead of pushing past it, I paused.
I stayed with the discomfort.
And I coached myself the way I would coach her —
the way I coach the women I get to walk alongside.

I noticed the old story.
I thanked myself for catching it.
I forgave myself for slipping into an identity that once felt safe…
and then I chose something truer.

And just like that, the tightness eased.
Peace came in.
Not because everything was figured out —
but because I remembered who I’m becoming.

If an old belief has been whispering to you lately,
please know this:
You’re not failing because it showed up.
You’re being invited to meet yourself with the same compassion and truth you so freely offer others.

And if you’re reading this thinking,
“I don’t even know what stories I’m believing anymore” —
that’s okay.
That’s exactly where this work begins.

I used every tool I teach today — on myself.
And if you’d like support learning how to do that too,
I’m here — whether that’s together 1:1 or inside Becoming.

You don’t need fixing.
Just a little space, truth, and encouragement —
the same way you give it to everyone else.

xo 💛

✨ I’m doing something I’ve never done before — and it’s happening today. ✨

I’m opening up a Becoming community call to guests because the lesson I’m teaching feels too important to keep inside the room.

I truly believe every woman needs to hear this.

So many of us carry beautiful dreams and desires on our hearts. The kind that won’t leave us alone.

And yet… they stay just out of reach.

Here’s what I’m uncovering — both in my own journey and in my work with women:

✨ The missing link isn’t the dream.
✨ It’s the belief that we are the woman who gets to live it.

Underneath our goals often live quiet, well-rehearsed lies:
• I’m too old.
• I’m too young.
• I missed my moment.
• Who do I think I am to want this?

Today, on this bonus Becoming call, I’ll be teaching a simple, practical way to notice and begin dismantling the lies you’ve been believing — so the dreams on your heart stop feeling like wishful thinking and start feeling inevitable.

🕓 Today at 4:00 PM PST

💛 If you’re on my email list, watch your inbox — the invitation is coming.

💬 If you’re not, send me a DM and I’ll personally share the link.

Come listen.
Come reflect.
Come begin believing you are already becoming the woman your dreams require.

You are so welcome here. ✨
