Pacific Coast Counselling We are a Counselling Centre located in Langley serving the Fraser Valley.

At Pacific Coast Counselling, we are passionate about strengthening relationships and providing a caring and compassionate place to support the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being of our clients. Our professionally trained and experienced therapists offer confidential counselling services to adults, children, couples, and families regarding a variety of mental health issues and relational struggles.

We are Hiring for an Associate Therapist Position!

Pacific Coast Counselling is seeking to hire a compassionate and skilled female therapist to work with couples, families, and individuals on a part-time contract basis, with the potential to grow into a full-time position. We are a team of systemically-minded and attachment-oriented therapists who are dedicated to growth, cohesiveness, and a team approach to our work with clients. We provide counselling services to couples, families, individuals and youth with a variety of relational and mental health concerns. Our office is located in Langley and serves clients throughout the Fraser Valley and Vancouver area. Specific work hours are flexible. The Associate must also be able to provide services both in-person and virtually.

Qualifications for this position include:

• Hold’s a Master’s-level or Doctorate degree in either Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or equivalent from an accredited post-secondary institution.

• Minimum of one (1) year full-time equivalent experience as a therapist working with couples, families, and adults in a therapeutic setting.

• Current registration with either the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors; Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy; British Columbia College of Social Workers; British Columbia College of Psychologists or Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association

• Must possess and maintain a valid class 5 BC Driver’s license with no restriction or equivalent (i.e. from another Canadian Province).

• Preference will be given to therapists with training in EFT, AEDP, & Attachment-based therapy.

Meet Angela: Associate Counsellor

Angela is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She has a Master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Community, and has completed additional coursework and training through an accredited Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy program. She works with adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families, from all different backgrounds and walks in life.
Angela aims to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and understanding space for people to share openly and honestly at a deeper level. It is in this space where she believes each person’s inner resources and strength can be accessed for healing and growth, in ways that make sense to us as unique individuals.
