Adventures Newfoundland offers Sea kayaking as well as Hiking/camping tours in the Bay of Exploits, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Adventures Newfoundland , formerly Canoe Hill Adventures, was founded in 2002 and is dedicated to providing quality sea kayaking experiences and Boat tours in the Bay of Exploits, Newfoundland and Labrador. We also offer kayak rentals as well as support to those who prefer to go it alone. Soon to come will be the addition of a remote accommodations facility located at the Surgeon Cove Head lighthouse property on historic Exploits Island.

We pause today to remember all military veterans who served our country . The following text was copied from a post by Kathleen Taylor in an Exploits Island Facebook group.

World War One and Exploits, by the numbers
29 men from and associated with Exploits enlisted.
11(at least) died and did not return to Exploits:
3 were killed in the battle of Beaumont Hamel:
7 were wounded in other battles , died from their wounds and were buried in various cemeteries in France.
Like many other small communities,Exploits paid a large price and it altered its future

The research was conducted by her uncle Cliff Lilly.
