💬 Here’s a gentle reminder from the One who heals and restores:

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me…to bind up the brokenhearted…to comfort all who mourn…to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes….” — Isaiah 61:1-3

May these words settle over you like a soft blanket of hope.

You are seen, loved, and never alone ❤️

Have you ever found yourself questioning if what you’re feeling or experiencing is “normal”?

I remember during my own grief journey, I felt anything but normal. My old sense of self seemed to vanish overnight. I’d judge myself, wondering if I was grieving the “right” way, but nothing made sense.

One moment I’d feel steady, and the next I’d be swept into a wave of pain and tears-sometimes in public, sometimes alone, but always what seemed as the most imperfect time.

I kept asking myself, “Why can’t I just hold it together? Why won’t my body understand that I need it to be okay, to stop spiralling into panic?”

If you’ve ever felt this way, please know you’re not alone. Grief doesn’t follow rules, and there’s no perfect way to move through it. Give yourself space & grace-you’re doing the best you can, and that’s more than enough. 💛

Struggling to give yourself the space & grace? We'd love to connect with you.

The last couple of years have been transitionary for me in many different areas of my life, and as I've healed and grew, I took intentional time to see my life and business from a different perspective.

Traumatic losses + grief tend to drag us to this unwanted crossroad, wouldn't you agree?

Although, I'll admit, for the longest time I couldn't reconcile in my heart (or brain for that matter) how God would use these experiences for His good, I chose to keep moving forward despite my lack of understanding.

So here I am, returning to my roots at Revived to Thrive—with something new to offer. I’m thrilled to be transitioning Revived to Thrive into a Wellness Collective with the same fire and passion, but with a greater vision for healing and restoration.

A Collective space where Holy Spirit-led practitioners come together to help others find freedom and wholeness.

Here's a few new changes...
We have expanded our areas of expertise..
➡ Prolonged Grief (formerly Complicated grief)
➡Anxiety & Panic (including grief related or disorders)

Along with our areas of issue or concern..

🧡Keeping it real. A real & raw post🧡

Over the past two years, I’ve faced some major life events that just about knocked me off my feet. These moments led me to have to pause, re-examine my life, and embark on a deep healing journey with God’s help.

A journey filled with moments of deep pain where my tears felt as though they would never dry up, and I lived from a belief that I would be drowned in them before I could heal. The struggle was real.

But here I am! I praise God my belief was never aligned with His truth and what He had in store for me.......AND YOU!

My heart’s desire is to offer others the support I desperately needed during my own valley experiences. Stay tuned for more details and stories—I can’t wait to walk this next chapter with you!

Recovery from a betrayal is not impossible!

God is totally committed to your journey, your healing, and your life in its entirety.

He is pursuing you. Even if you can't feel or sense it.

He wants you to turn to Him, even if you’re angry, disappointed, and have trust issues with Him. He already knows.

After the impact of a betrayal, moments of solitude to reflect and pray are greatly needed, even Jesus withdrew to pray.

But be cautious. Isolation can entice you to hide away, keep your partner's “secret” hidden in darkness, nurture your pain, and allow shame, guilt, and embarrassment to become your new voice of reason.

All of a sudden you feel trapped. Imprisoned. Unable to move. Bound by the pain and feelings of loneliness and abandonment.

Opening up about the betrayal and pain you're enduring is never easy and can be down right scary since your sense of safety and trust were damaged and fear of judgment is high.

Processing through the pain is vital and crucial to your healing process. Your future, your health: mentally, emotionally, and physically, depends on it.

You were not created to walk alone. It is not a sign of weakness, but of strength and courage when you seek help as you journey through the valley of what seems like the shadow of death. I encourage you to reach out today and refuse to suffer silently in isolation.

This is a common belief I encounter a lot within coaching sessions.

Many women bring up this area of hurt that’s been embedded in their minds and taken root in their hearts, allowing the blame to seep over them like a covered blanket as hopelessness starts to paralyze them.

Sadly,
- Other women will tell you this…..

- Culture will scream this at you….

- Pastors or counsellors who you confide in may even suggest to you it’s your duty as a wife and that he wouldn’t have this problem if….

Unknowingly, people & culture heap more shame onto women, suggesting they are the cause of their husband’s/partner’s s*xual addiction(s) and that lack of a “wifely/womanly” duty is to blame. This type of response implies to the woman that she is her husbands s*x slave and it is her responsibiltiy to ensure her husband is always s*xually pleased and gratified.

Ladies, you are not to blame. This is not your fault. You are not responsible for your husband/partner’s purity. You cannot heal him, only Jesus can. This addiction was there long before he even met you, and he is responsible for it.

You are only responsible for you and your healing.

Have you ever had "something" triggers you at the most inopportune time and send you into a spiral with no apology attached? Ugh. I get it!

Unhealed triggers can make us feel as though we are in self-contained prison. They start to hold us hostage as we scale back on doing the things or seeing the people that once brought us joy.

The fear of them reoccurring becomes our new "reality". Slowly depression sets in.

I promise you friend, this doesn't have to be your story. I know from personal experience that “triggers” feel like a life sentence some days, but I’m here to tell you, there is hope and healing when you are ready.

Your desire to be transformed must be stronger than your fear to stay conformed

Hi, I'm Kelly! Coach, Speaker and Kingdom Entrepreneur - but also importantly a wife to an amazing husband, a mom of 3 amazing children and 1 gorgeous step-son, and last but not least, Nonna to a beautiful granddaughter!

The one thing that can hold you back from personal growth, life goals, pursuing God-given dreams, and even deepening your relationship with Jesus or others, is the story you tell yourself after experiencing trauma.

The story of who you SAY you are, THINK you are, and BELIEVE you are. Then those stories, if not rooted in TRUTH, become your beliefs and then they limit you, protect you, and keep you from becoming the woman or man God created you to be!

I’m here to tell today...you may feel damaged, but you are not destroyed, nor defeated! You are chosen and God is pursuing you! Come and be transformed into the woman you were designed to be and walk fearlessly healed in your identity!
