Cheryl Ritzen Health and Nutrition Coach I Provide information for women and men to help them see and reach their full potential. Rather than sacrificing one for the other as many typically do.

I want this industry to go back to focusing on health rather than abs, gluts, and sexy poses. I believe in achieving health, increase performance, and accomplishing body composition goals altogether. Reaching goals is about fueling your body properly, with a higher quality and quantity of food sources. I don't believe in taking away any food groups or limiting calories to the extreme. The goal is

to speed up metabolism rather than slow it down, to get the body functioning at full performance inside and out. Health has more important than being lean. Being extremely lean can be very detrimental mentally, physical, and emotional.

You do NOT need to destroy your body to see results.

And honestlyโ€ฆ I say this because I used to be one of those women.

I thought more was always better.
More cardio.
More workouts.
Less food.
Push harder.
Ignore the exhaustion.
Ignore the stress.

I believed being completely drained meant I was doing enough.

But over time, my body pushed back.

Low energy.
Poor recovery.
Increased stress.
Feeling frustrated when my body stopped responding the way I wanted it to.

One of the biggest mistakes I now see women make is thinking:
โ€ข more workouts = faster progress
โ€ข less food = more fat loss
โ€ข exhaustion = success

But your body doesnโ€™t transform from punishment.
It transforms from consistency, recovery, and proper fuel.

Muscle is what gives the body that โ€œtonedโ€ look everyone wants.
And building muscle requires:
โœ” enough protein
โœ” enough recovery
โœ” progressive overload
โœ” patience
โœ” consistency over intensity

If you constantly under-eat, overtrain, and live stressed out, your body will eventually push back:
โ€ข low energy
โ€ข poor recovery
โ€ข increased cravings
โ€ข stalled progress
โ€ข burnout

The goal shouldnโ€™t be to get smaller at all costs.
The goal should be to become stronger, healthier, more capable, and more resilient.

Ironically, my body changed the most when I stopped fighting it and started supporting it.

Train with intention.
Eat to fuel your body.
Recover properly.
And stop expecting 10 years of habits to change in 2 weeks.

For a long time, I thought taking care of myself meant doing more.

Fueling my body instead of fearing food. Letting go of the idea that I had to earn my meals. Feeling stronger, steadier, and more energized because I finally gave my body what it was asking for and stopped starving it.

I stopped chasing sweat and exhaustion and started chasing strength. Training with purpose taught me patience, confidence, and trust in the process.
