Well Vitality Counselling

Well Vitality Counselling Registered Provisional Psychologist | Parental mental health & Life transitions | Find balance, resilience & clarity.

As a mom and bonus mom, I deeply understand the unique challenges of balancing parenthood, work, and personal wellness. My passion for supporting parents and individuals comes from knowing firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate these pivotal times in life. Whether it’s the overwhelming pressure of caregiving, managing anxiety and burnout, or simply trying to maintain a sense of self, I am c

ommitted to helping others find clarity and resilience through these experiences. Outside of counselling, I prioritize self-care by decompressing with a good book, practicing yoga, or enjoying peaceful walks outdoors. Spending time with my family at the lake in the mountains is where I recharge, find inspiration, and reflect on the importance of balance and connection in life. This personal grounding fuels my dedication to creating a supportive space for others to explore their own paths to wellness.

POV: therapists between sessions are basically tiny raccoons collecting snacks, water, emotional stability, and unfinished notes 🏃🏼‍♀️☕️📝

Just out here speed-running nervous system regulation between sessions 😅

Maybe this is your reminder that you don’t need to rush, prove, shrink, or perfect yourself to be worthy 🤍

You’re allowed to be a work in progress too.

One of the most powerful things you can learn is that:
just because you think something…
doesn’t automatically make it true.

Especially when anxiety, shame, insecurity, burnout, or past experiences are involved.

Our brains are often trying to predict danger, rejection, failure, or disconnection.

So yes — your thoughts matter.
But they are not always accurate.

Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is pause and ask:
“Is this a fact… or is this fear talking?” 🤍

A lot of moms feel guilty for slowing down, resting, taking space, or doing something just for themselves.

But constantly running on empty doesn’t make you a better mom…
it just makes you exhausted.

You’re allowed to fill your cup, too 🤍

You’re not “just a client.”

Therapists are trained to hold boundaries…
but that doesn’t mean we don’t care outside the room.

I remember your stories.
Your milestones.
Your hard days.

And truthfully—over the years, I’ve learned just as much from my clients as they have from me.
Your stories have shaped me, deepened my compassion, and changed the way I see the world.

You matter more than you think 🤍

Hot take:
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you.

It’s about understanding you.

The patterns.
The triggers.
The parts of you that make so much sense once you slow down.

And healing?
It takes time.

👉🏼 Save this as a reminder that healing doesn’t have a deadline 🤍

Therapists don’t always get closure.

Sometimes sessions just… stop.
No big ending. No final update.

But more often than not,
it’s because life got lighter.

And that’s kind of the whole point 🤍

To all my clients, past and present…
I’m always rooting for you.

Therapists are trained to stay neutral…
but that doesn’t mean I don’t have thoughts 😅
I am human after all 😜

I’m still grounded, ethical, and not here to take sides.

…just always rooting for you HARD 🤍

Being the default parent is exhausting in ways no one prepares you for.
It’s cancelling work when kids are sick.
It’s figuring out childcare… again.
It’s parenting through your own illness because there’s no off switch.

Sometimes burnout doesn’t come from “doing too much,” but from never getting to stop.

This load is invisible.
And it’s heavy as hell.

If this resonates, I see you.
You are not weak.
You are not failing.
You are carrying an invisible load that deserves to seen 💛.

✨A gentle note: this is not a dig at parents who are primary providers. Every role in a family system comes with its own pressures and sacrifices. This is simply naming a piece of parenting that often goes unspoken.
