At Lighthouse Counseling, we understand that addiction is rarely just about the substance or behavior itself. Beneath the surface are often layers of pain, trauma, shame, loss, disconnection, and survival patterns that can leave individuals feeling stuck and alone.

Our addictions counselor is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients are met exactly where they are in their journey. Through compassion, clinical experience, and genuine understanding, he helps individuals explore the deeper narratives that may be keeping them trapped in cycles of addiction.

Healing begins when a person feels seen, heard, and understood. Rather than focusing solely on the addiction, our approach centers on the whole person — their experiences, their resilience, and their capacity for change. Together, clients are supported in reframing limiting beliefs, developing healthier coping strategies, and rebuilding a sense of hope and self-worth.

With extensive experience working alongside individuals struggling with addiction, our counselor recognizes the complex emotional, psychological, and relational factors that often accompany substance use and addictive behaviors. His goal is not only to support recovery, but to empower clients to rediscover their strengths and move toward lasting transformation.

No matter where someone is in their journey, they do not have to navigate it alone. At Lighthouse Counseling, we believe healing is possible when compassion, understanding, and professional support come together.

I believe God meets people in the middle of their mess.

Not after they have everything together.
Not after they have proven themselves.

Right in the middle of the pain.

If you feel broken, ashamed, or exhausted, you are not too far gone.

Grace reaches into the places we thought were beyond redemption.

One of the hardest parts of addiction is looking in the mirror and not recognizing yourself anymore.

You remember who you used to be.

You remember what you cared about.

And you wonder how things got this far.

I want you to know that the person you were is not gone.

They are still there under the pain, the shame, and the survival strategies that no longer serve you.

Recovery is about finding your way back to that person.

Addiction doesn’t usually start because someone wants to destroy their life.

It starts because something hurts.

Sometimes it’s trauma.
Sometimes it’s loneliness.
Sometimes it’s anxiety that won’t shut off.
Sometimes it’s a pain so deep that getting through the day feels impossible.

At first, the substance feels like relief.

Then one day, it becomes the very thing that is destroying you.

If this is your story, I want you to know this:

You are not weak.
You are not crazy.
You are not beyond help.

There is a reason you are struggling, and there is a path forward.
