Live Strong. Live Well. Live With Purpose. NOW! We are always becoming!

Well Now Fitness was established because it cares about your health and well-being and desires to help you live a sustainable healthy lifestyle. It is dedicated to educating and inspiring people to transform their lives, day by day, through a holistic approach that engages the "WHOLE" person: body, mind, soul, and spirit. It is our mission to help people live in freedom! We are not about comparison or competition but COMPLETENESS. MOTTO: Transforming your life, day by day, moment by moment. It is our belief that when you make small, everyday lifestyle changes you can improve your overall well-being. Living well is a life-long process and we "become" well each day when we embrace those small, feasible changes that move us in the right direction towards wholeness and health. "Become" is a present tense verb and means "to begin to be" or "grow to be". This is an ever-present journey. The time is NOW to start becoming your best version of you!! It is never too late to begin making changes in your life. Well Now Fitness operates on four foundational pillars of wellness. These include physical fitness, mental fitness, social fitness, and spiritual fitness. The World Health Organization defines health as a "state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." Good health is key to our living well and goes beyond our physical appearance. Improving one's wellness means reducing risk of disease while considering the many factors that affect the WHOLE person.

1. Physical Fitness
Regular physical activity is proven to help prevent and manage non-communicable diseases such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and several cancers. It also helps prevent hypertension, maintain healthy body weight and can improve mental health, quality of life and well-being. (World Health Organization)

However, your body needs more than movement alone. Nutrition, hydration, sleep, and rest are all necessary components of physical fitness.

2. Mental Fitness
Mental health is just as important as physical health, and it should not be neglected. This involves keeping your brain and emotional health in tip top shape. It will mean identifying, assessing and navigating through feelings that cause undue stress and anxiety. Interestingly, the more you move the body the more you help the mind. Physical activity increases the flow of oxygen to the brain. It also increases the amount of endorphins, the “feel good” chemical, in your brain. Studies have shown that engaging in vigorous physical workouts can help battle depression and promotes a more positive outlook on life. It aids in the management of stress which can cause physical and mental harm. Mental fitness also address our intellect. We are intellectual beings created with the capacity to learn and share knowledge. The more you challenge your brain the healthier it becomes! Learning is a life-long process and should continually be nourished by trying new things!

3. Social Fitness
We are social beings. We were made for relationship. Well Now Fitness values people and we are all about developing social networks. Social relationships create support systems that carry you through life’s struggles. We acknowledge that people thrive best when they are inter-dependent on each other rather being independent from each other. We are founded on the principle that we are all in this together. Everyone belongs here!! We do not compare or compete with others but cheer each other on in our journey to joy, freedom, and completeness!

4. Spiritual Fitness
We are also spiritual beings. Our physical bodies are evident, we can see and touch them. However, our souls and spirits are less distinguishable but non the less real to each one of us. The soul refers to our mind, will and desires as seen in our personal preferences, choices, and emotional responses to life's situations. Our soul is reflected in our personality. The spirit refers to that part of us that connects and communicates with God. Our spirit differs from our soul because our spirit is always pointed toward and exists exclusively for God, whereas our soul can be self-centered. The joy, comfort and peace of God's presence can only be experienced through our spirit. To deny the spirit is to live with less wholeness in your life. At Well Now Fitness spirituality is rooted in faith of God the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. We operate on the premise that God has placed in each of us an innate desire to know Him. If we neglect this part of our being we will sense there is something missing in our lives and miss out on the wholeness that He longs to provide. Since He created us, He knows us best and knows what is good for us in every area of life, including health and wellness. In fact, as we integrate all parts of our lives to Him, we become complete and whole, healed and free! Then, we are able to live out His divine purposes with great joy. He has designed us each one uniquely and equips us to do whatever He calls us to do!! He brings true purpose and meaning to our lives.

“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
Mark 6:31

You don’t always notice it at first.
The tension in your shoulders.
The tightness in your chest.
The way your mind never really slows down.
You just keep going.

Until one day you realize…
You can’t remember the last time
you actually felt calm.

Not just sitting down.
Not just taking a break.
But truly… at ease.

What if rest isn’t about stopping everything…
but about creating space
to come back to yourself?

Just for today:
Pause for a moment.
Notice what your body has been carrying.
No fixing.
Just noticing.

WEDNESDAY WELLNESS

Stopping is not the same as settling.

You can sit down…
and still feel tense.

Because your body doesn’t automatically switch
out of “go mode.”

It needs a signal.

One of the simplest ways to do that?
Your breath.

A longer, slower exhale
tells your body it’s safe to relax.

Try this right now:
Breathe in slowly through your nose.
Then exhale… just a little longer.
Do that 3 times.

Notice what changes.

APRIL – REST WELL
MOTIVATION MONDAY

You don’t need more discipline.
You’re not tired
because you’re doing something wrong.
You’re tired
because you’ve been pushing through
for too long…
without recovering.

Most of us were never taught how to rest.

We were taught to:
keep going
figure it out
handle it
push through

But what you don’t recover from…
you carry.

Here’s the shift:
Rest isn’t a reward
for getting everything done.
It’s part of what helps you
keep going in a way that actually lasts.

Try this today:
Instead of waiting until you’re exhausted…
pause a little sooner.
Even one small moment of real rest
can change how you move through your whole day.

APRIL - REST WELL

“Be still, and know that I am God.”
— Psalm 46:10

I finally sat down today…
and somehow still felt tense.
My body was still,
but my mind wouldn’t stop.
Running through everything I didn’t finish.
Everything I still need to do.
And I caught myself thinking…
Why am I so tired… even when I rest?

Maybe it’s not that you’re doing too little.
Maybe you’ve just been in “go mode” for so long…
you don’t actually know how to come out of it.

What if your tiredness
isn’t something to push through…
but something to listen to?

And maybe that’s part of what Easter reminds us of.
That Jesus meets us right in our weariness.
That because of Him,
there is rest for what feels heavy…
hope for what feels worn down…
and new life when we’ve been running on empty.

Take a moment today:
Notice your shoulders.
Your jaw.
Your breath.
And just soften… a little.

BREATH CAN BE REST

Because rest isn’t just about stopping.
It’s about what your body does next.
________________________________

If your mind is still racing…
your shoulders are still tight…
your breath is still shallow…
your body is still in “go mode.”
________________________________

That’s why you can take a break
and still feel tired.
________________________________

Real rest starts
when your body begins to settle.

Try this today:

Take one slow breath in…
and a longer breath out.
Then notice,
Did anything shift, even slightly?

Stronger for What Matters

You are not training for a moment.
You are training for a life.

For energy.
For independence.
For the freedom to move without fear.

Strength expands your world.

Build it.

Becoming Steady

There is a difference between pushing harder
and becoming steadier.
Pushing exhausts.
Steadiness endures.

When you train consistently,
when you rest wisely,
when you move with intention.
You are becoming steady.

And steadiness changes how you live.
"Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." - Hebrews 12:1
Not rushed.
Not frantic.
But steady.
Stay the course.

If you’ve been feeling out of rhythm lately, you’re not alone.

You don’t need to push harder.

You just need a simple, supportive way to get started again.

That’s exactly what we’re focusing on this April.

One of the biggest hesitations from women is this:

“I don’t know if I can keep up.”
“I feel like I’d be starting behind.”

But here’s what our classes actually look like…
Every class follows a rhythm.

We begin with a warm-up
→ easing your body in

Then short intervals
→ simple movements with built-in rest
→ you work at your level

We include strength work
→ to support muscles and daily life

We focus on balance and mobility
→ so you feel better in your body

And we finish with a cool-down and stretch
→ plus time to reset and reflect

It’s not about keeping up. It’s about showing up.

👉 There is no “behind” here.

Each month is a fresh start.

Each class meets you where you are.

👉 April classes are opening Monday—message me if you’d like the details.
