Live Strong. Live Well. Live With Purpose. NOW! We are always becoming!

Well Now Fitness was established because it cares about your health and well-being and desires to help you live a sustainable healthy lifestyle. It is dedicated to educating and inspiring people to transform their lives, day by day, through a holistic approach that engages the "WHOLE" person: body, mind, soul, and spirit. It is our mission to help people live in freedom! We are not about comparison or competition but COMPLETENESS. MOTTO: Transforming your life, day by day, moment by moment. It is our belief that when you make small, everyday lifestyle changes you can improve your overall well-being. Living well is a life-long process and we "become" well each day when we embrace those small, feasible changes that move us in the right direction towards wholeness and health. "Become" is a present tense verb and means "to begin to be" or "grow to be". This is an ever-present journey. The time is NOW to start becoming your best version of you!! It is never too late to begin making changes in your life. Well Now Fitness operates on four foundational pillars of wellness. These include physical fitness, mental fitness, social fitness, and spiritual fitness. The World Health Organization defines health as a "state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." Good health is key to our living well and goes beyond our physical appearance. Improving one's wellness means reducing risk of disease while considering the many factors that affect the WHOLE person.

1. Physical Fitness
Regular physical activity is proven to help prevent and manage non-communicable diseases such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and several cancers. It also helps prevent hypertension, maintain healthy body weight and can improve mental health, quality of life and well-being. (World Health Organization)

However, your body needs more than movement alone. Nutrition, hydration, sleep, and rest are all necessary components of physical fitness.

2. Mental Fitness
Mental health is just as important as physical health, and it should not be neglected. This involves keeping your brain and emotional health in tip top shape. It will mean identifying, assessing and navigating through feelings that cause undue stress and anxiety. Interestingly, the more you move the body the more you help the mind. Physical activity increases the flow of oxygen to the brain. It also increases the amount of endorphins, the “feel good” chemical, in your brain. Studies have shown that engaging in vigorous physical workouts can help battle depression and promotes a more positive outlook on life. It aids in the management of stress which can cause physical and mental harm. Mental fitness also address our intellect. We are intellectual beings created with the capacity to learn and share knowledge. The more you challenge your brain the healthier it becomes! Learning is a life-long process and should continually be nourished by trying new things!

3. Social Fitness
We are social beings. We were made for relationship. Well Now Fitness values people and we are all about developing social networks. Social relationships create support systems that carry you through life’s struggles. We acknowledge that people thrive best when they are inter-dependent on each other rather being independent from each other. We are founded on the principle that we are all in this together. Everyone belongs here!! We do not compare or compete with others but cheer each other on in our journey to joy, freedom, and completeness!

4. Spiritual Fitness
We are also spiritual beings. Our physical bodies are evident, we can see and touch them. However, our souls and spirits are less distinguishable but non the less real to each one of us. The soul refers to our mind, will and desires as seen in our personal preferences, choices, and emotional responses to life's situations. Our soul is reflected in our personality. The spirit refers to that part of us that connects and communicates with God. Our spirit differs from our soul because our spirit is always pointed toward and exists exclusively for God, whereas our soul can be self-centered. The joy, comfort and peace of God's presence can only be experienced through our spirit. To deny the spirit is to live with less wholeness in your life. At Well Now Fitness spirituality is rooted in faith of God the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. We operate on the premise that God has placed in each of us an innate desire to know Him. If we neglect this part of our being we will sense there is something missing in our lives and miss out on the wholeness that He longs to provide. Since He created us, He knows us best and knows what is good for us in every area of life, including health and wellness. In fact, as we integrate all parts of our lives to Him, we become complete and whole, healed and free! Then, we are able to live out His divine purposes with great joy. He has designed us each one uniquely and equips us to do whatever He calls us to do!! He brings true purpose and meaning to our lives.

Don’t Abandon the Rhythm

February has tested us this year.

Snowfalls.
Warnings.
Storms.
Cabin fever.

When routines get interrupted, it’s tempting to give up altogether.

“I’ll just start again in the spring.”

But here’s what I want to gently remind you of:

Resilience isn’t built in perfect conditions.
It’s built in the middle of disruptions.

You don’t need to do everything at full capacity right now.

But don’t abandon the rhythm.

Modify it.
Shorten it.
Shift it.
Adapt it.

Move your body in your living room.
Take five quiet minutes instead of thirty.
Stretch instead of strength train if that’s what today allows.

Consistency, not intensity, carries you through winter.

And spiritually? The same is true.

When life feels cloudy and heavy, don’t abandon the rhythm of faith.

Even a whispered prayer counts.
Even a quiet “Help me” is enough.

The sun hasn’t left the sky.
And hope hasn’t left your story.

Wednesday Wellness 🌿

Loving well is deeply connected to self-awareness.
When we understand our needs, rhythms, and limits, love becomes more intentional — and far less exhausting.

Monday Motivation 💛

Growth doesn’t always feel dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like quieter reactions, kinder self-talk, or a willingness to pause.
Those shifts matter more than you think.

Soul Sunday 🤍

As this month comes to a close, it’s worth remembering that Scripture describes love as something we walk in — not something we perfect.

Growth in love happens over time, through daily choices, gentle obedience, and trust.
Wherever you find yourself today, let love meet you there.
(Inspired by Ephesians 5:2)

Creative Workshop Idea — Junk Journal Making!
I’m exploring the idea of hosting a beginner-friendly junk journal making class, and I’d love to see who might be interested!
I’ll be co-hosting with a special guest instructor, JL Rose from Mauzy Norris Arm North, who will guide us through the creative process.
This would be a cozy, hands-on session where you’ll learn:
🖋 the basics of pamphlet stitching (to bind your journal)
✉️ how to make envelopes for hidden notes & treasures
🎨 simple ways to design your own custom covers
♻️ how to use recycled materials to create something meaningful and unique
You’ll leave with your own handmade journal — perfect for memory keeping, journaling, or creative self-care.
I’m thinking either a weekend or a Tuesday evening in March month. Cost would be approximately $30.
👉 If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, comment YES below (and feel free to share which day works best).

Just gathering interest before setting dates! To see samoples of Journals check out Mauzy FB page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100093264802127

Wednesday Wellness 🌿

Healthy relationships — with ourselves and others — are built on respect.
Love that consistently requires depletion is difficult to sustain.
Honoring limits is often an act of wisdom.

Pain of the soul often shows up in the body. I love that Jesus cares about our bodies and souls and offers the deepest healing of all.

Monday Motivation 💛

Loving well sometimes means choosing what is sustainable, not what is impressive.
