Today at Riverside, we focused on fire safety — giving our ears a test with a safety drill and making sure everyone knows how to stay safe and sound. 👂🚒

Next, we put our sniffers to work during a relaxing aroma therapy session, enjoying soothing scents that help reduce stress, boost mood, and promote overall well-being. 🌿💆‍♀️

We wrapped up the day by tapping into our artistic senses with some pumpkin painting — full of creativity, laughter, and autumn spirit! 🎨🧡

We are proud to see Grace, a resident whose wish was fulfilled through Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime - Rêver pour la vie, featured in Zoomer Magazine.

At 88 years old, Grace, an accomplished pilot from Edmonton, returned to the cockpit for the first time in more than 50 years. With a flight instructor by her side, she proved to herself that her skills and spirit were still strong, successfully landing a small aircraft.

Grace’s story is a testament to resilience, passion, and the belief that adventure has no age limit. We are thrilled to celebrate this national recognition of her incredible achievement.
