BVT kills breast cancer cells.

Trials have shown that BVT is effective at destroying certain types of breast cancer cells, including triple-negative breast cancer and HER-2 enriched cancer. Both these cancers have limited treatment options in western medicine.

In trials, the BVT killed the cancer cells within an hour and at the same time did limited damage to surrounding healthy cells.

Is it painful? 🐝

Let us be honest, it's not a fun experience. It is also a matter of perception and personal experience. Some people have reported feeling only a mild discomfort or a quick sting during the therapy, while others mention a slight itching sensation afterward.

For other people - stings from those little bees can be painful! But, for some, the potential health benefits make it
worth the discomfort.

BVT is an effective treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Clinical trials are still ongoing but early trials clearly show that when compared to western medical treatment for RA (Methotrexate and Celecoxib) , BVT is as effective as the western medical treatment. i.e no significant difference was found between the groups studied, and no adverse events were noted from BVT. 🇬🇧

Is Bee Venom Therapy safe?

Less than 0.1% of people receiving bee venom develop a true anaphylactic allergy.

Compared to pharmaceutical drugs / medicines which often have lots of side effects and liver/ kidney effects, Bee venom is far safer.

For safety reasons, before the treatment begins, our patients have to be medically cleared by our GP.

Our therapist always has an Epipen / adrenaline Pen nearby in clinic to neutralise a severe reaction just in case it does occur, despite how rare it is. 🇬🇧
