Marlborough Place Assisted Living continues to proudly operate Marlborough Place I, II, and IV with the same ownership, the same dedicated staff, and the same standards of care that families have trusted for years.

Please note that we are not affiliated in any way with the new owners of the former Marlborough Place III location.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Marlborough Place Christmas party. It was truly special to see our residents, their families, our friends, and our dedicated staff all together celebrating the season.

Marlborough Place is more than a residence—it is a community—and gatherings like this remind us how fortunate we are to share it with such caring and supportive people. We are deeply grateful to our staff for the tremendous amount of hard work, time, and heart that went into preparing for the day and making it such a wonderful success.

Today marks **two wonderful years** since Marlborough Place IV Assisted Living opened its doors in Long Sault —and what a journey it's been! 🏡💙

Over the past 24 months, we've built more than just a community—we've built a family. From meaningful moments and new friendships to laughter-filled activities and compassionate care, every day here is a testament to our incredible residents, dedicated staff, and supportive families.

We had an absolute blast today at Marlborough Place IV with Bee Meadow Farm! Thank you so much to Mary and the other ladies for bringing Diego the goat, Danté the dwarf mini horse, Albus the bunny, and several chickens and ducks. Unfortunately I can't remember all of their names but I know Helen and Junior were hits!

What a gorgeous and fun-filled day! We are so very grateful!

🍳🏡 **Job Opportunity: Cook/Housekeeper (dual position) at Marlborough Place in Cornwall**

**Job Details:**

- Shifts: Rotational 2 days on and 2 days off, with every other weekend (Friday to Sunday)
- Responsibilities: Cooking for 25 people, kitchen/dining/stock room cleaning and maintenance, household cleaning, inventory log maintenance, taking phone call appointments occasionally, medication dispension, and occasional laundry duties, etc.

***We are NOT a long term care facility so you do NOT need to be to be a PSW in order to dispense medication. Training will be provided.

Qualifications:

-Must be caring, reliable, logical, strong, and fit for carrying out various tasks
-Experience in an assisted living home is preferable
- Must have a clean record
- Must have CPR and Food Handling Certification or is willing to obtain
- Skills: Creativity in cooking, common sense, motivated and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic, and effective time management
