Still taking it all in.🎤

Honoured doesn’t even begin to cover it. Being invited to speak in celebration of Black History Month is something I will never take lightly.

Black History Month is more than reflection.
It is recognition.
It is remembrance.
It is responsibility.

I carry deep gratitude for the leaders who paved the way — the ones who fought loudly and the ones who built quietly. Because of them, we get to lead, to create, and to take up space with intention.

To share my story and speak on resilience — not just as endurance, but as healing, self-leadership, and inner authority — felt like a full-circle moment. This message is personal. It’s lived. And it’s one I offer with care, especially to the next generation learning how to define themselves in a world that often tries to define them first.

I don’t do this for applause. I do it to honour the shoulders I stand on and to remind young people that their identity is power, their voice matters, and their strength doesn’t have to come from silent survival.

To the students and staff at and who welcomed me so openly, thank you. 💜🥹 Your presence, your energy, and your willingness to lean in made the experience unforgettable.

At 31, I don’t hide the chapters that shaped me.

I’ve walked through seasons that tested my mind, my strength, and my sense of self — and I’m still here.

Not just surviving, but leading. Growing. Thriving.

There was a time I didn’t recognize myself.
Now I lead from the woman I fought to become.
