At ME & Lau Family Foundation we’re raising funds to support charitable organizations that provide services to people with intellectual / developmental disabilities in the Greater Toronto Areas.

Mission

To receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom, from time to time, to charitable organizations that provide services to people with developmental or intellectual disabilities that are also registered charities under the Income Tax Act (Canada). What We Have Done

We fund and organize (1) the String Music Art Exhibition, (2) ME & Lau Family Foundation Scholarship and (3) the Income Tax Filing Clinic for People with Low Income and Families of People with Intellectual Disabilities. Charitable and non-profit organizations that we support or have supported in the past include, Community Living Toronto, Community Living York South, DD Community Connector and Paint A Smile. We have also participated at events such as the RBC Race for the Kids, CN Tower Climb for United Way, Paint A Smile's Rainbow Arts Exhibition and the Community Rocks for Community Living Toronto.

It is official! We are officially kickstarting our planning for the 2026 and 2027 ME & Lau Family Foundation String Music Art Exhibitions! Michelle Wong and I are looking forward to work withMatthew P**n, our music director, and his musicians team on this exciting and ambitious plan. It is our hope that over the next 2 years with 2 shows, we get to work every one of you who had helped to build the ME Foundation.

More to come. Thank you dad John Lau for helping us to organize our first official dinner / meeting.
