Effective May 5th, the Wellness Wednesday Program at the Marmora & Lake Public Library, will no longer be available as a weekly program.

As this has been an educational program for many interested in wellness products, services, and hearing about health and wellness....we have planned to prepare some other workshops and events. These may include day, evening, or weekend to try and accommodate all requests.

Thank you to the group attendees who have come out and supported this program every week and enjoyed the time together. It is always a passion of mine to encourage other businesses to come and share tlskme information on their services or products as well.

If you think that you would like to join Women In Wellness Marmora on an event, please reach out and I will help facilitate the collaboration.

Making pasta was an amazing activity! Chef Trevor did an amazing job teaching us how to make fresh pasta! I absolutely will try making my own now!

Thanks again for all who attended. We are always looking at ideas to introduce wellness and health tips.

Thank you to all the staff at the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Marmora, ON! It was another beautiful ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, March 5th to kick off International Women's Week here in Marmora and Lake, ON. The decorations and room looked beautiful and some of the residents even wore purple for the day!

A special thank you to the Soul Sisters for being present and sharing a few words about , this year's theme for International Women's Day. We are deeply grateful to Joyce McCaw for her inspirational journey and her message about the importance of being mindful of our breathing.

Unfortunately, our Mayor, Jan O'Neill, was unable to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony but did send some beautiful purple carnations for the residents and attendees. Councilor Jane Lakatos stepped in and shared her own family's experiences and challenges regarding equality and women's rights.

It was a pleasure sharing stories and seeing the familiar faces of Marmora attend that day! Many recounts were shared over a nice tea and treats. We are strong and resilient together and enjoyed our annual opening.
