🧠 NERVOUS SYSTEM MONDAY 🧠
Real talk: I became a massage therapist because I needed to heal my own nervous system.
Years of trauma, stress, and feeling unsafe in my body left me stuck in constant fight-or-flight. I was exhausted. Anxious. My muscles were always tight. I couldn't sleep.
I tried everything. Therapy helped. But my BODY still didn't feel safe.
Then I discovered the power of touch—skilled, intentional, trauma-informed touch. When someone I trusted worked on my muscles with care and consent, something shifted. My nervous system finally got the message: *You're safe now.*
That's when I realized: So many people are walking around like I was. Stuck. Exhausted. Thinking they're broken.
They're not. Their nervous systems just need permission to relax.
That's why I do this work. Every person on my table deserves to feel safe in their body again. To remember what it feels like to rest. To know that healing is possible.
