🌕 New Year, Full Moon in Cancer – 3 January 2026

We’re only a few days into the new year and already the sky is offering a very “Cancerian” reminder: slow down long enough to feel what’s shifting.

The Full Moon in Cancer lights up the places where we hold emotion in the body such as the chest, the lungs, the stomach, the protective layers we carry without realising. Cancer rules rhythms, rest, digestion, and the soft internal spaces that don’t perform on command just because the calendar flipped to January.

This isn’t a ‘hit the ground running’ Full Moon. It’s a check-in. A settling. A moment to notice what your body actually needs before rushing into plans and pressure.

If you feel more tender than usual, that’s Cancer speaking.

If you’re craving comfort, quiet, or connection, that’s Cancer too.

And if your digestion or sleep feel a little off, the Moon is reminding you that emotional tides show up physically just as much as mentally.

Let this Full Moon be a gentle start to the year. A chance to honour your internal rhythms, soothe your system, and set intentions from a place that’s calm rather than crowded.
