My longtime dream is to have a crooked cottage in the woods with a stone pathway leading up to it, flowering vines crawling all up its facade, a babbling brook nearby, a medicinal garden in the back and for people to say ‘a good witch who makes magickal potions works there’

A place Where I create herbal remedies, bake treats with the items I forage, sell my products and have guests come to offer their gifts like tea leaf readings, tarot readings and more…

A place where people know they can go to find help from the gifts of Mother Earth with various health challenges.

I don’t have the crooked cottage…..yet, but I do have the herbal apothecary I’ve always dreamed of.

Recently a friend of mine had some specific herbs suggested to her for a health issue she has been grappling with. Knowing my extensive herbal selection in my apothecary, she reached out to see if I’d blend a batch up for her. Of course I said “yes ma’am”

It makes my heart smile knowing i am one step closer to my dream 💭

At Walkabout Farm Therapeutic Riding Association Inc., we provide no-cost equine-assisted programs for children, youth, and adults facing physical, developmental, emotional, and socioeconomic challenges. For many of our participants, time spent with our horses offers something they rarely experience elsewhere—calm, confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging.

This Christmas, we are inviting compassionate individuals and businesses to sponsor a participant’s enrolment in our equine-assisted programs. Your sponsorship directly covers program costs, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of healing, growth, and joy.

A sponsored enrolment means:
• A child building confidence and regulation through gentle horse connection
• A youth finding safety, leadership, and emotional resilience
• An individual experiencing movement, trust, and therapeutic support in a non-clinical setting
