Sugar causes cancer!!!
one of the most important things cancer patients think about is sugar. They always ask: does it cause cancer? and if I stop it, will I cure my cancer?
Well, the simple answers to these questions are: no and no.
Let me explain, sugar by itself doesn't cause cancer, yes cancer cells feed on sugar, but sugar doesn't cause them, cancer is a little bit more complicated than this and there are lots of factors integrating together to create cancer, your immunity, the toxicity in your body, your emotional state, etc... so sugar is one small piece of the big picture.
And same wise, curing cancer is more complicated than using one solution only, plus there are some studies suggesting that cancer cells are highly adaptive and if the patient cuts sugar they might adapt by using other sources of energy to ensure their survival.
So what is the solution then? It's following a more holistic approach to cure cancer, where you use different strategies to address immunity, toxicity and other components of the equation.
Is it ok then to eat sugar when you are treating cancer, or trying to stay cancer free? Absolutely not. Although sugar doesn't cause cancer, as I stated, it causes many other problems you don't want while healing your body from any illness including cancer. For instance, it will make your body's inner medium acidic, which is a disease-promoting medium. Plus interferes with your blood sugar and your immunity.
If you want something sweet, it is always a good idea to use fruits to satisfy your craving, they are sweet, packed with fiber and nutrients and will nourish your cells without the guilt.
Stay away from sugar as possible and stay cancer-free.

Cancer free, now what?
So you have finished with your treatment plan, and your oncologist breaks the news, congrats, you are cancer free.
In the beginning, you feel happy and excited, but then questions start to accumulate inside you.
Am I immune to it forever? What if comes back? Will I be able to go on that difficult experience again? Will I be able to survive again? And fear starts crawling under your skin
First, let me tell you it’s not a time for fear; fear will weaken you and cover your mind from thinking clearly and searching for other solutions.
Cancer, as you might know by now, has happened because of various factors in your life, now is the time to look at your lifestyle and critically, but lovingly, evaluate the way you lived, to fully heal, it is necessary to understand where was the weak link that allowed the illness to come in.
Cancer is an accumulation of imbalances, caused by physical, mental and lifestyle stressors, so now after finishing your treatment, it is a good time to search for them and start doing something about them, to bring your body into balance again, so you can keep your survivorship active.
Diet is always a good place to start, so start by cleaning your cupboards of all packaged foods and make sure to eat as many fresh foods as possible. You will never get wrong eating seasonal fruits and vegetables in their original form. Choose organic whenever it’s possible, and enjoy them whole.
Reduce harmful chemicals in your environment as possible, and use green products over conventional ones.
And keep good company around you all the time.

Being on a special diet doesn't mean at all depriving yourself of your favorite recipes, but you can always adjust them so they contain only nutritious and good ingredients.
For 2 servings you need:
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup arrowroot flour
1/2 cup coconut flour
1/4 tsp soda bicarbonate
4 eggs
1/4 cup almond milk (or any other vegetarian milk)
1 tbsp honey
little of vanilla extract
For the topping:
1 apple peeled and cut into cubs
1 tbsp honey
1 small cinnamon stick

Put all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well, and put all liquid ingredients in a bowl and mix well, then add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix all well. Now you have your batter ready.
Cook as you do with conventional pancakes, but be careful as they are more sensitive.
Now prepare your topping:
put the apple in a saucepan, add the water, honey and cinnamon stick and keep on low heat until almost dry and the apple is well done. If you need more water you may add. Discard the cinnamon stick and add the apple on top of pancakes and enjoy.

Genetics and Cancer

So what's about genes?
This is another myth that’s going around, since we discovered the genetic proposition for illnesses and sickness, we started to hang all our faults on them, and this is not true.
Yes, there are specific genes that will make you more susceptible to getting specific conditions than someone who doesn’t have them, but it’s not doomed to happen.
To make things easier, let me give you this analogy: genes are like bullets that are ready to be shot out and our habits and lifestyle attitudes are the triggers.
I find this statement very relaxing and empowering because now you have something to do to prevent cancer from occurring or recurring, you are not really helpless and hopeless, on the contrary, there are lots of things you can do now to take care of yourself and prevent any illness including cancer, and this is not a myth.

A Holistic Approach to Cancer:

There is a misconception that I always come around when people search for alternative treatments for cancer.
After 100 years of experiencing allopathic medicine and benefitting from their drugs and treatments, people tend to think in a linear way: disease = medicine.
So when someone has any type of illness like infection or flu, they directly think about which drug will help them in this case.
This approach might be helpful in acute cases, but when it comes to chronic diseases it won’t work, or at its best will work for a while, and then you will get the same condition again, sometimes in a more aggressive way.
So what is the best approach to solve these issues? It’s the holistic approach.
Yes having a no-sugar diet will help, and having more anti-oxidant foods will help, but you are looking at one aspect only of the picture, and to be successful you need to look at the full picture.
Why did you get cancer in the first place? What are the pitfalls in your diet or lifestyle?
You need to get a full assessment of your body and lifestyle so you know exactly what are the root causes of your illness and then work on them, by adjusting your diet, getting the essential nutrients your body needs to function at its best and change your bad habits into more health promoting ones.
Now let’s take it a little bit deeper into diet, this is a question I ALWAYS get asked – and probably if you follow me on social media, you heard me talking about this – that is: do you have to be vegetarian or vegan to cure cancer?
My short answer is: it depends.
See I don’t believe in any one size fits all approach. We have different sizes, we wear different clothes sizes, different shoe sizes, and even different ring sizes, so how come we all have to eat one diet? That doesn’t make sense.
Different bodies need different diets, period.
So you also need to know your unique metabolic type so you can have a diet that supports and strengthens it.
A final word, cancer is not a disease, it’s a situation, it’s awareness and it’s an imbalance. Many people managed to heal by using a suitable treatment plan and making the needed adjustments in their lifestyles.

Cancer risk factor #2
Low fruit and vegetable intake.
There is an invert relationship bnetween fruit and vegetable intake and the incidence of cancer.
80 % of epidemiological studies indicate a protective effect of eating fruits and vegetables on a daily basis. 5 a day is still legit advice, as studies show a 40% decrease in adenomas when eating 5 a day, though 9 a day is even better, although in reality, it is difficult to achieve, as most people prefer other types of "healthy" foods in their daily diets.

If you want to gain your health back, you should beware of drinking tap water, here's why...

Why it's not a good idea to have tap water, especially if you have serious health problems. Filtered water instead!!! NOT SODA.
