✨finally live! ✨ and you heard it here first. Good, whole foods & meals are so important at any stage of your life; but perhaps a bit less available when your primary focus is instead on growing a baby or raising a family (or surviving another lockdown).

Enter .nutrition, nutrient dense meals and snacks delivered to your door in the GTA. This has been a labour of love over the last year and I am so incredibly proud of our small but mighty team, especially co-founder & partner ✨
My desire to help women postpartum and those who have experienced loss, has led me down this path. While I have had to take a break on coaching, I am sure to get back to this platform soon. I hope you enjoy!! First delivery is Jan 25th, and weekly from there ❤️

I launched this platform one year ago, so that I could not only hold space for my loss and continue my own healing journey; but also to try to help others on theirs. I have met the most wonderful women, partners and families this past year 🤍

On October 15th, starting at 6:45pm I invite you to take place in our virtual wave of light celebration in honour of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. I would be honoured to light a candle for your baby/babies & your family in our short ceremony.

In the link you will be asked to submit your name and email, along with the name of your baby. If they had not yet been names please let us know how you would like them commemorated (examples in the link).

One year ago this month I knew I had discovered my ‘life’s work’ in doing whatever I could to help Mothers who may be struggling in any way. Mothers whose children were not here with them on earth, Moms who were struggling postpartum to adjust to life with their new baby or with their title of ‘Mom’ and the changes within themselves in which that brought forward. I had been there and wanted to do anything I could to help others.

I have always been incredibly conscious that food can heal and fuel more than just your body, but never more then after Harper passed and subsequently becoming a mother to three under 2.
With this, and a brilliant business partner , .nutrition was born. We can become so busy and exhausted looking after others, that we often come last.

National Breastfeeding Month
A journey of ups and downs for me & I know for so many.
When my milk started to come in for Harper, I felt hope. “She’s going to be fine, how could she not? My body is telling me it’s ready to feed her, nourish her”. It was the ONLY tangible thing I could give her. The only thing I could do.
Three days later, after she had passed, and my breasts were full of this liquid gold; I would stand in a cold shower and let it pass over me and down the drain. That in itself was one of the most traumatic physical experiences I’ve ever been through.

This ⬆️ photo is one of Isabel breastfeeding in one of the change rooms at the store I owned at the time. I am thankful for the seven months we had together, especially following the prior trauma surrounding breastfeeding.

When the twins were born I knew I wouldn’t mentally and physically be able to breastfeed them both. The nurses in the NICU pushed me to, but I knew I had to advocate for my own mental health. I pumped for 4 months- giving myself a hard stop date. Neither had the experience even once of latching, and that is OK!

I hope this new world looks at Mothers with far less judgement, especially when it comes to how they decide to nourish their babies. This post is to honour all mothers to do what’s best for YOU, because at the end of the day that’s usually what’s best for babe(s).

97% of you agreed it was difficult to keep up with daily health routines while travelling.

✨ Summer is the time for fun, relaxation and livin’! Whether it’s at a cottage, exploring a new city, or lounging on a beach somewhere exotic; here are a few quick tips to keep up with your home time routine to keep you feeling healthy and fresh.

🫐🍌🍓 one of the best things about vacation is it’s the time to treat yourself, especially when it comes to mealtime. Breakfast is the most simple meal to keep it real. Granola & Yogurt. Fruit on the go. Make sure you get your breakfast in and save the treats for later.

🍋 BYOC: you can find a lemon pretty much anywhere. Lemon water in the am to help wash down your daily vitamins, is a great way to start the day.

👟 The best way to explore somewhere new is to lace up those runners and head out for a walk, or even a run. If your lucky enough to be on a beach, 🦶 walks it is!

💧There are so many water stations available these days, a reusable water bottle will be your little reminder for the obvious (and very important ): keep hydrated!

🥦🥕🥒 If you find yourself eating out a lot, just remember most sides can always be swapped out for a salad or a side veg (roasted anything is my fave and so delicious)

🧘 Although vacations are meant to be relaxing, they can sometimes cause more chaos and stress (hello, travelling with kids). Sneak away whenever you can, even if it’s to another room. Meditation apps are a great way to breathe and get that little bit of you time you need and deserve.
