Join us for an informative webinar designed for therapists who may not specialize in OCD but want to respond to it more effectively in their practice. This 1-hour presentation offers guidance on identifying OCD, avoiding common clinical missteps, and understanding when and how to refer out—all to improve outcomes and reduce harm.

Facilitated by Rylie Foerster, registered psychotherapist, who has specialized training in OCD and a strong interest in improving clinician confidence and competency in this area. This session is ideal for clinicians looking to sharpen their diagnostic instincts, support clients more ethically, and feel more confident when OCD shows up in the therapy room.

🌿 What to Expect:
• A breakdown of how OCD commonly (and not-so-commonly) presents
• Overview of treatment gold standards, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
• Common pitfalls and how to avoid unintentionally reinforcing symptoms
• Guidance on referral decision-making and collaborative care
• A practical, compassionate lens for working with a misunderstood diagnosis

🌼 This workshop is ideal for therapists, counselors, and mental health professionals of any background who want to feel more confident and ethical when OCD is present—even if it’s not their specialty.

Our Story

We (Paitra and Kornelia) met during our undergraduate studies and continued to study together during our post graduate education. We have worked side by side (sometimes even in the same office) for many years, just recently realizing that we have always been "in it" together so why not "do it" together! As we were growing we started adding some wonderful members to our team. Shannon and Noela have helped us grow the breadth of services we offer and have become crucial parts of our practice. Our vision has always been to provide high quality services with a personal touch and we feel even better equipped to do so now.
