Dr. Noah Litvak, ND Hello, I'm Dr. Litvak. As an ND, I have a special interest in mental health, digestive health, hormonal health and weight loss. Reach out to see how I can help!

I love my career because everyday, I help people like you live their best lives. I work as a Naturopathic Doctor at High Point Wellness Centre. I love my job because I get to help people feel better using natural methods, and teach them how to stay that way, whether they have pain, headaches, anxiety, depression, digestive concerns, insomnia, or any other health concern you can think of. I'm very interested in getting people results by determining the cause of their concerns and helping them to overcome their obstacles and barriers. I believe that everyone has the ability to THRIVE and be in better health, so let me help you to be happier, healthier, and stronger with more energy to do the things you love!

💡 Not feeling your best? It might be time for a check-up.

As a naturopathic doctor, I focus on preventive care—helping you understand what’s really going on in your body and how to restore balance. This can include:
✔️ Checking both basic and advanced bloodwork
✔️ Physical exams to catch things early
✔️ Working with you to uncover why you aren’t feeling your best

Appointments are available throughout the week, so you can get started on your health journey right away.

Not sure if naturopathic medicine is the right fit for you? That’s okay—you can always book a free discovery call to learn more.

Exploring more of Ottawa’s beauty lately 🌿💧
One of my favourite things about living here is how much green space (parks, forests, trails) and blue space (rivers, lakes, water views) we have access to. Bet you’ve heard of green space before—but blue space is just as powerful for your health and stress levels. There’s something about being near the water that just slows everything down.

Lately I’ve been trying to carve out more time outdoors—whether that’s a long walk, sitting by the river, or even just noticing the little pockets of nature around the city. It’s been such a good reminder that slowing down doesn’t have to mean doing nothing… sometimes it just means letting yourself breathe a little deeper in a place that feels good.

I’m heading into this week feeling recharged, grateful, and excited to continue supporting my patients (and future ones!) with that extra energy.

☀️ Your turn—how are you spending time outside this week? Drop it in the comments, I’d love to hear!

A patient came in struggling with daily panic attacks. Heart racing. Chest tight. Nothing medical showed up — they were told, “It’s just anxiety.”

Here’s what we found:
🔹 Gut issues → triggering inflammation
🔹 Iron deficiency → worsening fatigue
🔹 Chronic stress → no support or boundaries

We built a plan: nervous system support, nutrient correction, therapy, and boundaries.
6 weeks later: no daily panic. Sleep improved. Still a work in progress — but with real progress.

👉 Your symptoms aren’t “just in your head.” Let’s figure out what’s actually going on. Book a discovery call today.

Overwhelm doesn’t just live in your head — it shows up in your body.

Here’s a 1-minute tool I often share with patients to get grounded:

🔹 5 things you can see
🔹 4 things you can touch
🔹 3 things you can hear
🔹 2 things you can smell
🔹 1 thing you can taste

This simple sensory check-in brings you back to the present — no gear, apps, or deep insight required.

💬 Ever tried this before? Let me know.

Mental health care doesn’t have to mean meds or nothing. There’s a whole toolbox in between.

Some of my favourite natural tools:
🔹 Magnesium glycinate — calming and sleep-supportive
🔹 Morning light exposure — resets circadian rhythm
🔹 Protein and fiber — stable blood sugar = stable mood
🔹 Adaptogens — like rhodiola or ashwagandha
🔹 Omega-3s and B-complex — foundational for neurotransmitters
*Remember that professional guidance is always best to ensure SAFETY and effectiveness when it comes to supplements.

These aren’t magic pills — but they can make a real difference when tailored properly.

🧠 Save this for your wellness toolkit.

Mental health isn’t separate from physical health — it’s part of the same picture.

It affects your:
🔹 Sleep and digestion
🔹 Blood pressure and immune system
🔹 Relationships, work, and motivation

And yet... so many people don’t get the care they need. Because of stigma. Or time. Or not knowing where to start.

That’s why I help patients bridge the gap between mental and physical wellness — with evidence-based, whole-person care.

🧠 You deserve care that sees the full picture.

You’re sleeping. Eating well. Exercising when you can. And you still don’t feel like yourself.

I see this all the time — especially in:
🔹 Parents and caregivers
🔹 Teachers, nurses, and frontline workers
🔹 People masking symptoms to keep going

Here’s what we often find underneath:
➡️ Low B12 or iron
➡️ Thyroid or blood sugar issues
➡️ Inflammation or trauma
➡️ Hormonal changes (especially in perimenopause)

You’re not doing anything wrong — you just haven’t had the right support yet.
❤️ Drop a heart if this hits home.

Myth: You need to hit rock bottom before getting help.
Truth: You deserve care before you’re in crisis.

Therapy, naturopathic care, or coaching can help you:
🔹 Understand your patterns
🔹 Build resilience
🔹 Prevent burnout and breakdowns

You don’t need to be falling apart to want support. Wanting better for yourself is enough.

Stress is part of life — but chronic stress is something else entirely.

🔹 Poor sleep that doesn’t get better
🔹 Feeling numb or disconnected
🔹 Snapping at loved ones without meaning to

These are signs your nervous system is overwhelmed — not that you’re broken.

As an ND, I help patients explore physical contributors like:
🔹 Hormone shifts
🔹 Inflammation
🔹 Sleep disruptions
🔹 Blood sugar and nutrient imbalances

You don’t need a label to deserve support.
💬 Noticing any of these signs? You’re not alone.

Mental health isn’t just about coping in crisis — it’s about checking in early.

Here are 3 questions I often share with patients:
🔹 What’s been draining my energy lately?
🔹 What’s bringing me joy or meaning right now?
🔹 What do I need more of — or less of?

If your answers feel unclear or uncomfortable, that’s not failure — that’s insight.

These check-ins can be a turning point.

That “tired but wired” feeling at night isn’t just in your head — it’s your nervous system running on fumes.

🔹 Cortisol rhythms can get flipped from chronic stress
🔹 Afternoon blood sugar crashes spike late-night hunger
🔹 A busy brain keeps you on high alert

In practice, I help people:
🔹 Test and understand their stress hormone patterns
🔹 Rebuild circadian rhythms using light, food, and herbs
🔹 Use natural tools to calm the system without grogginess

You don’t need to power through — you need a reset.

“You’re not lazy. You’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or unsupported.”

It’s easy to feel like we’re the problem when we’re not meeting expectations. But what looks like laziness is often something deeper.

🔹 Mental health impacts energy, focus, and drive
🔹 Burnout and stress show up as fatigue or apathy
🔹 Trauma, grief, and hormone imbalances often go unseen

Instead of blaming yourself, pause and ask:
➡️ What’s depleting me right now?
➡️ What do I need more of — sleep, support, boundaries?

Real healing starts with real questions.
