Content Calendar: READ ME FIRST 👇
This is your monthly roadmap for women’s health, broken down in a way that actually makes sense for real life.

Each decade comes with different shifts.
Different risks.
Different priorities.
And this month, we’re walking through exactly what should be on your radar in your:
30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s+

Here’s how this account works:
Each week = one decade
Each week = 3–4 focused posts
Reels and stories to support it.
No fluff.
No overwhelming protocols.
No “do everything perfectly” energy.
Just clear, practical, evidence-informed guidance you can actually use.
Weekly breakdown 👇

Week 1: Your 30s
→ Build your foundation, know your history, get proactive early
Week 2: Your 40s
→ Navigate perimenopause shifts (sleep, cycle changes, muscle, metabolism)
Week 3: Your 50s
→ Postmenopause, cardiovascular risk, cognitive health, life load
Week 4: 60s+
→ Symptom clean-up, mobility, medication awareness, quality of life

This isn’t about doing everything at once.

It’s about:
→ Knowing what matters right now
→ Catching things earlier
→ Building a foundation that actually holds up over time

Think of this as your free micro-learning platform for women’s health.
Save posts.
Come back to them.
Apply what fits your life.
Follow along if you want real, useful guidance through every stage (30–70+).
And keep an eye on stories later this month as
you’ll get to vote on what we cover next 👀

A kindergarten affirmation that became a clinic truth ✨

My daughter started kindergarten last year and just weeks into the school year came home repeating this daily affirmation, with “I” in place of “you”. It took me hearing it a few times for it to sink in and realize how powerful these words were, how often I could say this to a patient sitting across from me because it is so very deeply true.

Addressing your health isn’t easy, nor linear, nor straightforward. When I sit with people, they tell how they are in pain, how they are hurting, and then I ask hard things of them. I ask for change and adaptation.

We need to celebrate and honor the effort it takes to ask for help and make the changes. So to all my dear patients and anyone reading this, you are amazing.

Irregular periods got you worried? 😰

It’s not always PCOS or even a hormone problem.
Your cycle can shift with stress, lifestyle changes, or even different life phases. Every change is your body sending a message, we just need to listen. 💬
Let’s decode what your body is really saying.

⭐️ STARTING MAY 2026 ⭐️

👉 This page isn’t random, it’s structured so you can actually learn and not just doom-scroll each month.

We focus on one core topic each month in women’s health chosen by you! With multiple sub-topics each month to support the monthly topic.

A content calendar is posted at the top of the page monthly, with the current topics and future months topics.

Midway through the month you’ll see poles and voting in stories so you can help decide what will cover next from there. These are real no BS deep dives designed to give you clear evidence-informed information without the overwhelm.

You’ll see this come through in both posts and reels. Simple, direct and easy to apply.

Stories are where things get more interactive. This is where we answer your questions, run Q&A’s and add real life content so you can actually understand how to use the information in your day-to-day life.

The goal is for you to know what’s coming, follow along week to week and build your understanding overtime instead of getting scattered surface level advice.

You’ll also see supportive content woven in around the main topics. This includes sustainable habits, hormone health, and proactive approaches that are realistic and actually doable in everyday life.

This space is built for women 30+ navigating the transitions from perimenopause to menopause and beyond looking for clarity not confusion.

Think of this page as your free, ongoing resource for women’s health and education. Grounded in experience. Backed by evidence. Dr. Nicole Roberts ND has over a decade of experience supporting women through the era’s of life.

You deserve more than a checkbox approach.🫷

We talk about health as if it’s black-and-white: you either have a diagnosis or you don’t.

But human health doesn’t work in binaries.
You can have fibromyalgia and iron deficiency.
PCOS and gut dysbiosis.
Anxiety and chronic insomnia and a stressful boss.

A diagnosis explains something, but rarely everything.
This is why whole-person care matters. You deserve more than a checkbox approach.

Menstrual patterns and symptoms often change with major life transitions including stress, childbirth, C-sections, IUD use, perimenopause, and the transition into menopause. These hormonal shifts can significantly affect mood, sleep, energy, metabolism, and overall wellbeing.

During perimenopause in particular, fluctuating estrogen levels can impact the nervous system and may show up as disrupted sleep, worsening premenstrual symptoms, fatigue, joint pain, mood changes, or vasomotor symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats, even when classic symptoms are absent.

There is nothing “overreactive” about a nervous system that’s trying to keep up.

Cognitive health is power.

Sexual function is complex and individual. It is also very impactful to our quality of life and intimately affects our relationships with others (and ourselves). 💚

Complexity in medicine sometimes means we shy away from addressing a concern because treatment isn’t obvious or linear or easy. But our sexual health deserves individualized support with our care providers. Our sexual desire matters and most importantly, we shouldn’t feel like our lack of desire means we are defective or problematic or uptight because this isn’t medically accurate at all.

Sometimes I’ll see patients for an initial visit and I can tell they are testing the waters. They aren’t sure yet if they can make the sort of changes I might ask of them, or commit to the investigations to understand what is going on. I might not see them again for 6 months, maybe a year, maybe 2 years. And when I do see them again, they apologize for not following up or doing the things we initially spoke about, or taking so long to come back.

But the apology isn’t necessary. There is bravery, strength and perseverance in coming back to the table, even if it takes a few times, to get enough momentum to start making changes. I love seeing patients come back willing to try again, even if it's just a toe in the water to begin. Life is hard, it is busy, and our social scripts encourage us to put ourselves on the backburner. I don’t care if it take 5 years for us to get going, I appreciate your willingness to keep trying and I’ll never shame you for showing up. I’ll do my best to meet you where you are at, adapt to your feedback and needs, and make a hard process easier.

👉 “Stopping the problem before the risk even starts.”

Most people understand prevention as “avoiding disease,” but primordial prevention goes one step earlier, it’s about preventing the conditions that lead to risk factors in the first place.

Our Story

As a Naturopathic Doctor I work with patients from young children and infants to adults and senior care, on two levels, each with a different therapeutic goal. Each level of healing is based on research detailed in scientific literature, combined with the clinical experience of how bodies heal.

  • Large scale changes to diet and lifestyle that remove individual obstacles to healing and support the body’s natural capacity to function well and heal

  • Identifying specific small biochemistry-based changes that we can address with natural therapies to allow an individual’s metabolism to correct itself and heal symptoms of disease: this may include Functional Testing and tinkering with specific doses of natural agents to find each patient’s biochemical “sweet-spot”
  • This Naturopathic Practice has a specific focus on the following:
