The reality is-

on the quest to feel our best mentaly and physicaly, there are several “pillars” of health that need to be supported for truly well-rounded approach. Nutrition is a very important one.

With acupuncture we can work on the energetic dynamics of the body . But one thing we cannot do with needles is put more nutrients into the body😬

When deficiencies come from not getting enough nutrients through food intake, we’re working against ourselves. Its kind of like trying to build a house without enough materials. You body needs the basics - steady meals, protein, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins, balanced blood sugars- to assist in regulating your mood, support your nervous system, repair tissues…

Acupuncture supports the system , but nutrition provides the building blocks.

* side note- you should always make sure that you are not on an empty stomach for your acupuncture session. Having food priora nd being hydrated gives us more energy to work with in the session 🙂

Headaches aren’t rendom symptoms, they’re part of your body’s communication system. They can reflect stress, digestion, emotions, sleep, tension or deeper patterns in the body.

They are complex, and every person’s patern is different.
An acupuncturist can help you understand the why , offer lifestyle support, and treat both acute and chronic headaches and migraines gently and effectively.

You’re curious about what to except? This may help you decide if these sessions are right for you:

First, we discuss the reasons for your visit and talk about you- your health and anything you want to share.

I take a look at your tongue, check your pulses and explain what we will do.

We start with the acupuncture needles-✨
Combining multiple points on the body and the ears. My goal here is to address the localized issues ( for example if there’s pain ) as well as systemic imbalances. While the needles stay in place ( 20 minutes), that is your relaxation time. You listen to music, relax and go to your
mind’s happy place. During that time , I stay with you and we get into the next part of the session.

Tuning into your feild- ✨
While you’re in relaxation mode, we tune in to your energetic field to help reorganization, reconnection,
and bringing back coherence to the systems. This part of the session works synergistically with the acupuncture, amplifying the effects. Its very frequent during that time for people to experience twitching in arms, legs, face or the spine as connections are being made and
reorganization occurs and is a perfectly normal reaction . People often fall asleep during that time or go into a deep relaxation state.

Additional bodywork-✨
After the needles are removed, we have the option to supplement the session with gua sha or fire cupping if required. I like using those methods for tensions that could benefit of a little extra help for a more immediate feeling of relief.

Regardless if your session is for stress relief, for aches and pains, for your menstrual cycles or
any other reason, the flow of my sessions includes these components for the maximum benefits

The sessions are not only designed to assist you with your current state of health, but are also
designed to progress with you into wellness and maintenance, peeling layers over time, always
bringing you closer to your most coherent self

Did you know
Your organs have emotions, and its affecting your mood.

Understanding ourselves through our biology and chemical process is incredibly important. But then....theres all the rest as well.

The more perspectives we have in understanding our body, the better chances we have at understanding what it’s telling us.

When we learn about the emotions of organs through a Chinese medicine lens, we gain an additional language, a new way to perceive ourself.

In Chinese medicine, each organ is linked to specific emotions. When we understand the connection, we can see how our feelings affect our body and how our body reflects our emotions. It helps us understand what our systems are trying to tell us so we can do what needs to be done to restore balance.

Here is a very simple introduction diagram of the organs divided in the five elements with a list of some of their respective out of balance emotions.

Recommendation:
If this has picked your curiosity, I highly recommend the book Follow Your Tao by Stephanie Nosco.

I love her interpretation of each of the organ systems, their energies , emotions and spirit. Its written for anyone with or without any background in chinese medicine. Not only is the book informative, but the art in it is very pretty💗. It has a high dose of spiritual touch that I very much appreciated. Felt like a warm hug of a read.

Sometimes we wonder why certain pains seem to linger - even after physical treatment.

Not all pains are created equal.
Some need to be treated on more than just the physical level — they need support for the nervous system and the emotional body.

That’s where approaches like acupuncture, breathwork, yoga, qigong, meditation, proper nutrition and counceling/ therapy come in — they help the body and nervous system to feel safe enough to start processing, readjusting and find coherence again.

Somewhere along the way, alot of the ancient wisdom that once guided us and supported us got left behind. That wisdom holds so much about what it truly means to live well , not just physical health.

It’s not about getting rid of what’s new.
It’s about bringing back the old and adding it to the new.

My hope it that through these bits of information , you find peices that you connect with, and either sparks your interest in learning more or gives you what you need.

Information isn’t ment to be kept to ouselves, its ment to be shared 🤓 so , today is introduction to the two forces of yin /yang to set the stage for everything else.

After many years of working in conventional healthcare I always get very excited when I see
correlations between modern science and Chinese medicine🤓. However, a part of me still
knows, like a deep unshakable truth…What the ancients knew to be true still
remains. It requires no further proof for validation, but the fresh perspective science brings is
always highly welcomed.😁 ( lets keep in mind , what feel true for one person does not necessarly feels like truth to another , and that is perfectly ok) .

The old practices of Chinese medicine did not rely on modern science, but used nature and the
sky as a road map to build the elaborate systems we still use to this day. Acupuncture was
something that was practiced by feeling and observing. No tools were required other then the
senses and the hands.

Modern science knows that fascia is piezoelectric , meaning it generates an electrical charge
when it’s stretched, compressed or moved. It also covers every single surface of the body. Your
organs, your immune system and your nervous system are wrapped in it and are connected by
it . Its integrity is crucial for optimal health. A practitioner who has developed their sensitivity
can perceive the subtle changes in the electrical and vibrational patterns emitted by the
patient’s tissues. These signals can be perceived on the body or several feet away , creating a
energetic feild. Acupuncture points are like little areas of high electrical charges. By inserting a
needle, we create a change in the electrical signals.

Breathe easier this spring—TCM has your back (and your sinuses)🌱🌿

Seasonal sniffles? Itchy, watery eyes? Feeling foggy? According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it’s not just the pollen—it’s a sign your Wei Qi (think: your energetic immune system) might need a little boost.

Here’s where acupuncture comes in:

✅Boosts your Wei Qi

✅Balances your Lung, Spleen & Kidney systems (the TCM dream team for immunity)

✅Lowers inflammation + histamine response

✅Calms your overreactive immune system

Many people find that regular treatments during allergy season not only relieve symptoms—they reduce intensity over time.

If you’re tired of relying solely on antihistamines, acupuncture offers an additional supportive option.

Now’s the time to start—before peak pollen hits.🌸

Have any questions or want to know if this could help you? Send me a message - im happy to chat.🙂

The truth is, our emotional state and our physical health are intimately connected and cannot be seperated.

Have you ever noticed how much harder it is to find the stamina and resilience to go through a difficult situation or deal with daily life stress when the body feels depleted, tense or on high alert of fight or flight?

The more balanced the body feels, the calmer the mind gets🧘‍♀️. It allows space for solutions to come to us, to feel more hopeful , more motivated , our mood improves…and that allows for a lot of great things to start happening.

Every acupuncture treatment you receive , your body gives you a big THANK YOU for bringing its flow back to its proper state.

You deserve to thrive and feel your best.

☀️☀️☀️and heres a ray of sunshine just for you!!
since we dont have much of that outside today 🥶❄️
