✨Pose of the Week✨

Exalted Warrior

Are you ready to unleash your inner warrior? The Exalted Warrior pose (Viparita Virabhadrasana) represents strength, determination, and resilience! 💪

Benefits

Strengthens Legs
Engages and tones the thighs, calves, and ankles, building lower body strength.

Stretches the Spine
Lengthens the spine and opens the chest, promoting better posture.

Enhances Focus
Encourages mindfulness and concentration, grounding you in the present moment.

How to Practice

1. Start in Warrior II. Begin in Warrior II by stepping your feet wide apart, turning your right foot out 90 degrees and your left foot slightly in. Bend your right knee over the ankle, and extend your arms parallel to the floor.

2. Inhale to flip the right palm up, keeping the legs active.

3. As you inhale, lift your right arm toward the sky, and gently lower your left hand down onto your back leg.

4. Reach up and back, creating a gentle backbend. Maintain a long spine and keep the front knee deeply bent. Gaze up towards your hands, opening your chest and heart to the sky. Feel the stretch along your side body.

5. Stay for 3–5 breaths, gazing up toward the top hand if comfortable for the neck.

6. To exit the pose, gently lower your arms and return to Warrior II before switching to the other side.
