I attended the 'Eye of the Storm' meditation last night at Heartfully Yours. It was an experience that I wish everyone would gift themselves with. We are living in a time of chaos and have so many outside influences that we carry, whether we are aware of them or not. The session last night took me 'inside' my heart and taught me how I can experience life's storms in safety.....and see them with clarity vs chaos. Greg's meditations, sessions and workshops are all designed with love to teach you how to release the 'trappings' of the outer influences of life. I am feeling more 'at home' within myself...even through times of transition....because my healing path no longer feels like something being done 'to me' that feels good in the moment and a few days after. This experience, on every level, is of me and through me and I am a full participant in the process. I am most Grateful and Blessed to have Greg's gentle guidance on this leg of my journey. Thank you God!

I have been mentoring with Greg LeMoine, owner and operator of Heartfully Yours Inner Transformation Services, for nearly two years now, and I feel like sharing a bit about my experience. I want to open people's eyes to a divinely inspired healer in our very own community - one who offers his unique services on a gratitude (donation) basis from his office at Suite 206, 96 Norwood Ave in Moncton. Okay, you might wonder what that is about - donation for healing services?? You may not have seen that before... It comes from a heart that is focused on service within the community. Greg finds it impossible to fix a price on healing - to limit it's accessibility to only those who can pay the fees. Having been in a position in the past where access to healing services was not affordable, Greg has concluded that payment by donation would make his service available to everyone without the barrier of cost. This can confuse some though. People get concerned about what a "fair" donation is. Greg's philosophy is "as we give, so shall we receive". For the practitioner that means giving to the client and receiving remuneration based on what the client feels they have benefited. For the client, it means giving a donation based on what they feet its value is to them and then factoring in their ability to pay. Greg openly gives from his heart, and when the client donates from theirs, maximum benefit from the session is received by everyone. There is no judgement and Greg gets to keep his door open to serve others with the goal of expanding available services. I should back-up and give some background on myself. I moved to the Moncton area in 2014. In fact, I came just two days before the horrific RCMP shootings in the community. While the area was involved in that terrible crisis, it was also a vulnerable time for me. I had been off work for five years due to burn out, and it was time to try and get back into the workforce. For the years I had been in recovery up to that point, I worked hard and used every opportunity given to me to climb back out of my dark hole. I spent those years in isolation, depressed beyond hope, fighting for my sanity, and living in general fear of the world and even of myself. I had crushing anxiety, severe depression, suicide ideation, and the only way I could cope was to stop all sensory input. That meant literally sitting still, in the dark, emotionally and functionally numb. My husband and my cat were my constant source of strength and my motivation to carry on. I had their love and full support, but I couldn't see a way through feeling constantly overwhelmed 24/7. I had developed chronic lower back and middle back pain that radiated out my arms and left my hands numb when I did things like drive, cook, clean, hold a book, type on the computer. My ability to think clearly was destroyed - first by the burn out and emotional carnage that I carried, and then by the meds I took to keep me alive. I took all the counselling, massage therapy, chiropractic, relaxation therapy, acupressure, acupuncture, etc., that I could find. Everything helped in its way, but nothing took me to a sense of true peace and peace of mind. Still, by 2014, I was managing better. I was taking art classes and trying to expand my world. On the outside I looked pretty together, but inside my ping pong ball was bouncing out of control. It was that feeling of always being on the edge of falling over into chaos and overwhelm. If I could scurry away to one of my safe places, I could get by, but it was nowhere near thriving. I called it surviving. That's all it was. The move to the Moncton area was an extremely taxing time for me. I have always been an optimistic person, so I easily thought about the new opportunities coming my way. My partner and I found an ideal place that brought this salt-water girl back to the ocean-side. I liked the work I was doing and the people were very kind to me, but I could see that I was sliding back into my shell. I hadn't found a way yet to sustain the healing that I had accomplished up to that point. Within months I was having panic attacks again, I couldn't concentrate, my sleep was constantly disrupted by anxiety and my medications were under frequent adjustment. Within eight months I was off work once more. The return wasn't a success. I felt failure, fatigue, guilt, terrified, but not hopeless. I had more strength than the first time I sank to the bottom. This time I caught myself before I hit the floor. That was an improvement. My biggest step toward health came when a medical professional recommended Reiki for relaxation. I had tried it before, but without any apparent benefits for me. In hindsight, I had tried it at a particularly bad time and was unable to let go - to "allow" the loving process to reach me. Yet, here I was being pointed in that direction again. This time, when I tried it, I knew I had struck gold. I finally found something that gave me the peace of mind and spirit to believe MORE was possible for me. It allowed me to brighten my hope. I found a Reiki practitioner with whom I could really connect, and she worked with me to carry me forward in my healing. I was able to truly let go and relax - finally! I attended other types of energy work, meditation, and yoga over the same period of about two years. Each, in turn, enriched my spiritual experience. But, there came a time when I felt like I wanted more. I felt like I had reached a plateau with my spiritual awakening and was on the cusp of something transformative - from a different perspective. I had no idea what, but I felt like I needed to work more on my own "stuff" and tackle issues that would help me heal in a broader sense than what I had been experiencing up to that point. I come from a background involving sexual abuse and it had taken a lifetime of counselling to get me at an 'even keel' (as my psychiatrist called it), but I wanted more than just a liminal existence. I wanted to feel better! Was it too much to ask? This is the approximate time that I was referred to Greg LeMoine by a dear friend. She had attended a few of his events and recommended his workshops to me. The next one in his schedule was about connecting with the inner child! Perfect! I was a little apprehensive about working with a male practitioner. My preference had always been female practitioners of any sort, but I have a large swath of brothers and worked very well with predominantly male groups in the past, so I threw my apprehension to the wind and walked through the door of Heartfully Yours Inner Transformation Services. Once I met Greg LeMoine, owner/operator, my concerns dissolved. He was soft spoken, approachable, thoughtful and not a person to trigger me in any way. His was an interesting story: He had experienced a serious health crisis that western medicine could not even identify, let alone cure. He was highly educated with a background in physical and mental health counselling - with a focus on trauma. He was trained in a vast array of alternative health practices. I could work with that. That first session was quite an eye opener for me. Greg talked a language I completely understood. When he "connected the dots" for the individuals attending, I felt like I was being reminded of something I innately knew. It made sense to me and once I made that connection, I could feel energy moving through me. I was able to relax myself to "allow" his energy to reach me. I had no idea what to expect, but the effect was simply incredible. I went from feeling like a scared, wounded child, to feeling like the middle aged woman I was, connecting with her own emotions and finally releasing them. When I left, I thought a lot about the energy shift I had experienced. It felt completed. It was at rest. I immediately made an appointment for a personal session and was able to get in the very next week. That was when my life changed. The immediate and profound emotional/energy releases I achieved with Greg changed the way I thought about physical and emotional health. I had spent years in talk therapy and on medications, but the first two or three sessions with Greg gave me more peace of mind, more relief from anxiety, and more personal freedom than anything I had accumulated over the previous years of my life. It was around session three that Greg offered to mentor me. I was very flattered by the idea but didn't take it very seriously at first. After more reflection, consultation with my partner, and consideration of whether I had the mental stamina to offer much to him as an acolyte, I decided to step through the door of opportunity he was offering me. He saw my potential as a healer. Wow. I was humbled and excited at the chance to work and learn from him. Going into the mentoring process, I had my own beliefs about healing. I knew that stress was a physical reaction in the body involving hormones and chemical processes beyond my understanding. I believed that this chemical "finger print" gets held in the body when we are not free to express it in the moment - when fear for “self” overrides the opportunity to freely experience it - so that the chemical process is cut off from its natural progression and has no resolution. These stressors could be experiences from childhood (when we had no power), or as an adult when we pushed down our natural reactions to suit the situation we were in (when we didn't feel safe, were at work or in the presence of others who would not understand, appreciate, or validate us). The key point is that the internal chemical reactions initiate within us REGARDLESS of our ability to outwardly express them. These are subconscious systems within our body - we have no say in the reptile part of our brain that feels threatened. Thus, when we are not in a safe place to let them "be", the chemical imprint is "stored" within us. I believe that stored-up chemical "soup" can manifest later in life as chronic pain, emotional turmoil, agitation, depression, anxiety, etc. Generally, there comes a point in our lives when most of us can feel the ping-pong ball bouncing around within - making us feel off balance, overwhelmed, etc. As the separation of time and space from the signature event increases, we may have no recollection of, or connection to, the cause anymore. We can be overwhelmed and have no idea why or how to deal with it. With so much access to alternative health solutions, many turn to processes that provide them peace and a sense of calm. In my case, Reiki had provided me with a critical piece of my healing - a place where I could get the relaxation and peace that I needed. The desire to maintain the sense of peace and calm meant I went back for sessions again and again. Don't get me wrong, I fully enjoyed that feeling of love and comfort and it hugely benefitted me. Finding that it provided the peace and calm – something that I couldn't grasp on my own - was like being pulled back from the precipice of fear and anxiety. But I had a nagging problem with that cycle. Was I TRULY healing - reaching a point of "releasing the issue" - when I had not traced the root of my problematic emotion. Was I only spinning my wheels? This concern felt a bit scary from the outset. Wouldn't most people rather go for an energy session that is like a spa treatment - where they passively 'allow' and enjoy the loving energy that is bestowed upon them. There is nothing wrong with that, and it absolutely provides a level of health and wellness that anyone can benefit from. Nevertheless, for people like me, with greater challenges and a strong desire to close the door on unhappy chapters of my life once and for all, it called for more. While mentoring with Greg, what I continually witness is a healing process that guides the client to the root of an "imprinted" trauma so that the emotional (chemical processes) trapped within the body can be physically released. The trauma is not re-lived, but the buried emotion gets purged. For me, that was when my true healing happened. That was when my fear decreased to the point that I could walk away from my patio door without locking it - even though I was going back out straight away. That was when the pain (that prevented me from driving, digging, and freely living) stopped. It opened my eyes to the fact that we each have to be a CRITICAL player in our own healing. It isn't about passive involvement; it is about getting engaged with those aspects of ourselves that hold us back. It was quantifiable for me. In the year before I began to see Greg as a client and then mentor with him, I put less than 7000kms on my vehicle. I only went to and from appointments, and when I did get out, my partner drove me around like a chauffeur - bless him. In my first year working with Greg, I put over 25,000kms on my car and drove myself most everywhere I needed to go - including: Saint John, Fredericton, Halifax, Dartmouth, Lawrencetown Beach and Wentworth. If you don't call that improvement, I won't be held back by your standards! Ha. In Greg I found a mentor who has been generous with his knowledge, thoughtful in his opinion, compassionate in his consideration. I said at the outset that he is a divinely inspired healer. You may wonder what I mean by that. I believe that everyone can be taught technique, can learn to connect with their higher self, and that some people have a natural ability toward certain skills. Greg has taken the time to build his knowledge and insight, his talent and his wisdom, and he brings to it what only he can possess - his own sacred heart. His unique empathic abilities combine with that knowledge and wisdom to help you transform your life with true healing - thus "Inner Transformation Services". He is the conduit that makes it possible. You are the receptacle that allows it to transform YOUR life. My journey through the mentoring process has taught me a lot about healing and about myself. From Greg I learned: the compassion and wisdom needed for healing work, how to find patience within myself and with myself, how to connect with my sacred heart (soul), the benefits of meditation, how to work with stones and essential oils for maximum benefit to myself and others. The mentoring experience itself has also taught me humble, personal lessons about love, trust, friendship, communication, integrity, commitment, and so much more. I have grown and changed over the past two years. Not only do I have more freedom and peace in my life, I have met a host of wonderful people to add to my "tribe". I have come to a place of comfort within myself. It isn't perfect in here. There will always be work to do. After all, life is a path along a journey, not simply a path to a destination... Cathy
