Today was honestly one of the best day of my life ! I was able to be myself and to express myself in the truest and purest form.

This quote resonates with me very much because it’s very true. You may see me alone , but next to me is 10,000… along side me is God, my parents, my siblings, my ancestors, grandmother, aunties, cousins, sisters, my church, my school, my work, my community, my country; my people…but most importantly the universe !

One of my favourite moments from the is that a member from the parliament representing the scarborough and its surrounding area came out to our event.

It was also nice to see other people from other communities come out to our event to show us some love and support. It’s was beautiful to see everyone coming together and support one another .. it was just all love !
