💙 Surviving Grief: Practical Ways to Cope 💙

Grief can feel overwhelming, but there are gentle steps that can help you move through the pain while honoring your loss:

✔️ Talk about your feelings – Share with someone you trust, or seek professional support.
✔️ Take care of your body – Rest, eat, and move gently; your body carries grief too.
✔️ Create rituals of remembrance – Light a candle, journal, or keep something meaningful close.
✔️ Give yourself time – Healing doesn’t follow a timeline. Be patient with yourself.
✔️ Seek community – Support groups and counseling can remind you that you’re not alone.

Why is it that when we’re traumatized, we worry more about others than ourselves?
Because pain convinces us that everyone else matters more. We silence our own needs while bleeding inside, making sure no one else feels what we feel.
But the truth is — that’s how we stay broken. Healing starts the moment we stop protecting everyone else from our pain, and finally face it for ourselves.

Why is it that when we’re traumatized, we often worry more about others than ourselves? 🤔
Because trauma makes us hyper-aware of connection. We fear being a burden, losing people, or not being “enough.” Instead of turning inward to heal, we focus outward — protecting, pleasing, or checking on others — even while we’re breaking inside.

But healing begins when we remember: we matter too. 💙
