This month is dedicated to lyme disease awareness & prevention. Where I imply you all to please be careful in your outings and protect yourselves from tick borne illnesses. The impact of falling Ill carries way more implications than one could even consider.
So consider this :
By my experience, once you’re sick, and you hit the chronic phase, and get to spend most your time in bed, deprived of all freedoms (speech, mouvement & light) : NOT EVEN YOUR OWN FAMILY will come to you, nor will anyone make it easier!
Imagine having living parents (actually alive) & your not being considered as living family member who deserves compassion, empathy & basic regard;
-not having a single visit of a family member in three years;
-seeing humans treat their pets & animals better than you, while at you’re at your worst;
-being told thing like “you should try saying it will help you”
-Imagine your relevance disintegrating in real-time as you stare directly into to the plains & fields of passiveness;
-watching those who both conscious / unconsciously exercise & perpetuate “Silence is violence” as a discipline.
So If that does not provide the “this thing ain’t scary enough”…then I don’t know what else to say. Get yourself organized against the impacts of living with Lyme Disease. Here are my suggestions :
-talk to your family physician & also to your family members on the effects and consequences of living with Lyme Disease.
-always prepare for outings
-wear light adequate clothing
-carry Atlantick for you and pets
-be mindful of your environment
-spot a tick / get bit (take photo)
-get eTick app to help tick tracking
-pharmacies cary antibiotics 💊
Once home 🏠
-remove all your clothes off
-steam clothes / 10 min max dryer
-inspect yourself your partner or pet
-assess bags pouches pockets
-raise awareness w/ loved ones
Ask your doctor or your pharmacist on how you can do more to prevent all of your dreams and aspirations being shut by tick born illness. Be real with it, don’t let anyone tell you it’s small stuff. Champion the way to a healthy opportunity of a healthy future.
The opposite sucks as sour than a face you’d make after sucking on a lyme for a minutes.
Do you know someone who’s suffering of Lyme disease : GO FIND THEM HUG THEM SHARE A SINCIRE MINUTE WITH THIS PERSON. Ignorance is easy, be part of those who cultivate compassion. ❤️🩹
