I will post this here because so many of you were my initial supporters during the pandemic.
I started something little, with no idea what the hell I was doing. You guys bought my bars in Saran Wrap and ziplock bags (with zero idea of expiry or if I was poisoning you accidentally).
There were oh so many mistakes made aling the way. Bad labels, messed up nutritional tables, wasted $…
It took 2 years to get into a retailer and over 3 to get into 10…as we approach year 4 we have just landed our 70th retailer. We moved production from our own 8x8 foot facility to a HACCP MAPAQ certified copacker.
As I release the role of bar production and become more focused on sales I must thank you. I planted a few seeds and watered them and prayed for sunlight and you were that. You helped the sprout grow.
We sold very little for the first 3 years but as we approach a half a million bars sold in the coming months the lesson has never been more clear.
As my friends Circuit16 say SHOW UP. The fool can become a mastwr with enough practice. With effort, good energy & intention we can change our course forever.
