If you’ve been feeling like your body is changing… your energy feels different… your sleep, cravings, weight, or stress feel harder to manage… this week’s Monday blog article is for you.

So many women are taught to “push harder,” eat less, or punish their bodies when things start shifting in midlife.

But what if the answer isn’t more punishment… it’s more support?

In this week’s article, I’m sharing how to work with your body, not against it, and why sustainable health often starts with listening instead of fighting.

Because feeling strong, energized, and well should never come at the cost of self-kindness.

Read it here 💗 https://ericadiamond.com/the-midlife-body-reset-how-to-support-your-body-without-punishing-it/

Have you noticed your body asking for something different lately?

There is a moment many women describe in midlife where they look in the mirror, try on the jeans that used to behave, and think, Excuse me. When did my body hold a secret meeting without me? The body feels different. Energy shifts. Sleep changes. Muscle tone may feel harder to maintain. Weight may m...

A room full of women is a powerful thing.

A room full of women cheering each other on, sharing stories, creating impact, and lifting one another higher? Even more powerful.

So grateful to have been invited to attend yesterday’s beautiful luncheon, supporting a mission that helps women gain confidence, opportunity, and the tools they need to thrive. I have watched this organization grow in size and impact over the years, having collaborated with them for almost 15 years now… it’s really quite amazing. Their work is deeply important.

When women support women, lives change. It’s that simple. 💗

As a self-care expert, certified life & career coach, and certified yoga & meditation teacher…

1️⃣ Someone saying:
‘I’ll rest when things calm down.’”

2️⃣ A calendar with zero white space.

3️⃣ People wearing burnout like a badge of honor.

4️⃣ Checking emails before getting out of bed.

5️⃣ Thinking constant exhaustion is just ‘part of it all.’

Your nervous system is not a machine.
Protect your energy like your life depends on it.
Because honestly… it does.

As a self-care expert, these are red flags before people even realize they’re heading down an unserving path.

Burnout rarely happens overnight.
It happens through small patterns we normalize:
constant urgency, overcommitting, lack of boundaries, glorifying exhaustion, and living in reaction mode.

Real self-care is not bubble baths and spa days.
It’s creating a life your nervous system can actually thrive in.

A few reminders:
- Rest is productive
- Boundaries are healthy
- White space matters
- You do not need to earn your worth through exhaustion
- Sustainable success > survival mode

Which one of the five can you relate to?? 👇🏼

NEW EPISODE IS LIVE 🎙️

High Functioning, Highly Tired: A Mental Health Awareness Month Conversation

You can be successful, productive, dependable, high-achieving… and still be exhausted.

You can be showing up for everyone, checking all the boxes, getting the work done, holding the family together, answering the emails, making the appointments, meeting the deadlines… and quietly feel like you are running on fumes.

That’s what this week’s episode is all about.

In honour of Mental Health Awareness Month, I’m talking about what it feels like to be high functioning and highly tired. The kind of exhaustion that does not always look obvious from the outside. Sometimes it looks like over-performing. Smiling. Saying “I’m fine.” Pushing through. Keeping it all together while your body, mind, and nervous system are quietly asking for a reset.

In this solo episode, I’m sharing the signs to watch for, the questions to ask yourself, and some gentle but powerful ways to begin coming back to yourself. Because self-care is not something we wait to practice after we hit a wall. It’s how we stay connected to ourselves along the way.
