🧠✨ What Every Woman (18–35) Needs to Know About Hormones & Youthful Health* ✨🧠
Your 20s and early 30s aren’t just about looking good – they’re about laying the foundation for lifelong hormonal balance, energy, and vibrant aging. 👇💥
✅ DO THIS:
🌿 Eat for your hormones – think whole foods, healthy fats (Hello, avocado & olive oil), and fiber! In my 20s/early 30s my diet consisted of a fast processed food, rarely some soups and stews. Healthy fats were not part of my meal 🙄
💪 Strength train – it supports your metabolism and keeps estrogen in check. I have been always quite active and in my 20s/30s would do lots of cardio (thought that was what I needed - WRONG! It would only increase my cortisol level and would exhaust my adrenal glands ☹️
🧘♀️ Practice stress management – cortisol imbalances in your 20s and early 30s lead to burnout later. I learned about yoga and meditation only after the big stress trigger in my life in early 30s.
😴 Prioritize sleep – deep sleep repairs your body and regulates ALL hormones. I thought when you’re young, you don’t need to sleep 7/8 hours, 4-5 is enough 🤦🏽♀️
🩸 Track your cycle – it’s your monthly health report card. You think “it’s ok my period is 4 days earlier or only a couple of days late”…it is NOT okay! It’s an early warning that your reproductive system is disrupted ‼️
🧬 Support your gut – a healthy gut = balanced estrogen & clear skin
❌ AVOID THIS:
🚫 Skipping meals or extreme dieting – it confuses your hormones and messes with your cycle
🚫 Too much cardio – chronic cardio = stress = cortisol overload
🚫 Overdoing coffee & sugar – quick highs = hormonal crashes
🚫 Ignoring fatigue, acne, or irregular cycles – they’re early signs of imbalance, not “normal”
🚫 Birth control as a “fix” – it may mask symptoms, not solve them
🌸 Remember: What you do NOW writes the story of your 40s and beyond. Love your hormones early – and they’ll love you back later. 💕
