New 5.0-star Review: "I flew in to Montreal from Latin America to be treated at Steinberg Urology for quite severe BPH symptoms. I was seen by Dr Zorn who evaluated me and recommended that I undergo the Optilume BPH procedure (a minimally invasive surgical treatment). This procedure is fairly new, although clinical data for the last 5 years is available which show excellent outcomes. Dr Zorn was able to schedule me for this procedure 10 days after the evaluation. The procedure was done under local anasthesia, took about one hour (total time in the operating room, including time for prep), and the level of discomfort was manageable (no intense pain). A catherer was needed post surgery for just 3 days. Yesterday it was 4 weeks after the procedure, and the improvement of BPH symptoms (ie. maximum flow rate 100% improvement, retention volume 65% lower, almost zero nocturnia, IPSS score reduced from 30 to 10) has been amazing. All other functions besides urinary also work very well. Some healing is still ongoing as expected from the Optilume BPH procedure, but I was able to resume all normal activities 2 weeks after surgery. I was very fortunate that Optilume BPH was a suitable procedure for my condition, and I am VERY pleased with the outcomes. My interactions with Dr Zorn and Steinberg Urology were vey positive from day one. Dr Zorn's professionalism, dedication, empathy, and commitment are outstanding. A hearfelt 'Thank you' to Dr. Zorn, Steinberg Urology and to Stephanie and the team of nurses who supported me through my surgery and recovery."
