I get asked about pricing a lot, so here’s a quick breakdown to help set expectations.

Example 1:
A customer requests a basic 8-inch, one-tier, 4-layer vanilla cake with buttercream, light texture and not complicated design. This is a fairly simple cake.
• Base price: $200
• Cake topper, Florals, 3D elements, edible laces , sugar flowers, etc. are an add-ons, so the total typically comes to $250-$350 depending on the details and materials used.

Example 2:
A customer requests a two-tier Sesame Street cake serving 35-45 people, including:
• individually hand-crafted fondant characters/figurines
• A custom cake topper
• Two cake flavours
• Two fillings
This design is highly detailed, with all elements handmade from fondant. Projects like this take multiple days of planning, sculpting, shaping, letting dry and decorating. It’s all time and effort.
• Base price: $350
• With added details, flavours and labor, the total can easily come to $500

If a design you love is outside of your budget, I’m always happy to offer scaled-down options or refer another baker who may better fit your price range.
My Experience, professionalism, talent, ability to make high quality custom cakes are all factors in pricing.
