I'm with Trauma Geek - Janae Elisabeth on this topic. Gabor Maté has missed the mark, and this muddled thought of his is beneath the otherwise exceptional high quality of his work and contributions. Any negative aspects of ADHD can be supported and reduced in effect by many tools, but how, or why would anyone want to "reverse" the beautiful, unique and creative ADHD brain? Like we say around here, "ça n'a pas de bon sens."

I was asked yesterday what a Life Coach does. Because we do so many things, I'm not sure I gave a full answer, but the essential is: we help you to achieve your dreams.

That can take the form of brainstorming your obstacles for solutions, setting meeting and check-in times to help you with accountability, or finding solutions for new obstacles that arise once you start taking concrete steps toward your goal... but it's much more, and depends on the needs and dreams of the individual.

What if you have a longing to do something, but no idea how to begin? Or what specifically you want to achieve in an area? I can help you figure out your real needs. What if you've had a dream for a long time, have made a lot of progress, but feel blocked about getting further with it? In that case what you need instead is an outside point of view, plus some of the other support functions mentioned. What you need, and what kind of individual coaching package I develop for you, is going to depend on you and your goal.

We don't grow alone. That's a lie fed from some very obscure parts of our culture. In the same way that you'd reach out for a trainer to achieve a fitness objective, you reach out to a Life Coach.

Whether you want to achieve a career objective, artistic goal, or change the quality of your relationships, etc., I can offer you a roadmap and accompaniment to get there.

Hi friends, salut les ami(e)s... I found a free resource to share if you're struggling to resolve issues from your upbringing. I own this book, and as the title indicates, "Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents: How to Heal from Distant, Rejecting, Or Self-Involved Parents - Lindsay C. Gibson, PsyD"
offers many insights into what it's like to grow up with emotionally immature parents.

It's been my observation that the line between emotionally immature parents and narcissists can become blurred, as many share similar characteristics or behaviours. If you have a narcissistic parent, you may be triggered by the content; please consult with your psychology professional if you have concerns over that before you read.

Always know, that there are many paths to healing, and the energy treatments I offer can help gently release experiences of trauma trapped in the body, in an atmosphere of quiet and care, without psychological analysis (booking link in bio).
