We are now accepting applications for the Senior Sales & Marketing Professional opportunity. Position Summary
You will be responsible for architecting and executing comprehensive strategic sales and marketing plans to increase Lumid revenue. You will be accountable for capitalizing on existing networks and quickly building new customer relationships, closing sales and overseeing the day-to-day management of a business development pipeline with goals for increasing revenue and expanding the customer base worldwide.
Requirements:
Demonstrated success, including at least ten years in sales and three or more years in each of the following:
selling complex products and projects
selling internationally in the U.S., Europe and/or Asia
managing sales personnel
Advanced oral and written fluency in English and French.
Experience in lighting, landscaping, real estate or architectural design communities.
Sales Responsibilities:
Forge, deepen, broaden and evolve relationships with existing and new clients and partners in order to generate sales.
Develop, communicate and execute sales strategies and tactics to accelerate Lumid’s revenue growth, including in key markets such as New York, Los Angeles and London.
Research, identify, target and close new accounts.
Pro-actively make cold and follow-up calls.
Organize and attend networking events and trade shows.
Occasionally travel to targeted geographic areas to meet with clients and prospects.
Maintain reliable client relationship management data.
Marketing Responsibilities:
Develop, communicate and execute marketing strategies and tactics to accelerate Lumid’s revenue growth.
Continuously evolve and tailor marketing tools and materials for each target market and specific prospects and partners, including website, email blasts, online catalog, etc.
Conduct market research and analysis including gathering information about competitors and competitive products, new product development opportunities and transforming such data into actionable intelligence.
Management Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, manage and motivate an effective and dynamic sales team.
Lead sales and marketing meetings.
Collaborate regularly with all departments.
Undertake special projects.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with Lumid senior management.
