La relocalisation temporaire des activités est en voie d’être finalisée.

Cette mesure a été rendue nécessaire puisque l’installation actuelle ne répond plus aux normes pour assurer un environnement optimal à la prestation des soins et services. La relocalisation vise à maintenir la qualité et la continuité des services dans un cadre conforme aux exigences. Des démarches sont en cours afin d’identifier une solution permanente.

Extreme heat events are hard on everyone, but they pose a greater risk to older adults.

Before an extreme heat event begins, be prepared with these tips:

- Check the air conditioner or identify a cool space. Doing this before the heat arrives will help to keep you cool when it gets hot.

- Plan for frequent wellness checks on those you know who are more vulnerable. Know the signs of heat-related illnesses and what to do if you notice them.

- Create a list of medications that can be shared with a health care provider, since some medications can interfere with the body’s ability to cope with heat.

Une concentration élevée de particules fines dans l’air peut nuire à la santé. Il est recommandé de:

Relocalisation des activités des points de service locaux (PSL) 📍 I Au mois de juin, les PSL Montréal (Lachine) et Kirkland seront relocalisés, en raison de la fin des baux actuellement en vigueur.

👉 À compter du 13 juin 2025, le PSL Montréal (Lachine) sera relocalisé au 3320 rue Notre-Dame, à Lachine.

👉 À compter du 20 juin 2025, le PSL Kirkland sera relocalisé dans les locaux du CLSC de Pierrefonds.

Des interruptions de services sont prévues afin de permettre la relocalisation des activités :

- PSL Montréal (Lachine) : 11 et 12 juin
- PSL Kirkland : 18 et 19 juin

I’m Lisa, owner, nurse and certified foot care specialist at Santé West. I’ve been working in health care since 2003 with different roles in many sectors: CHSLD (both government and private), hospital setting in medicine, post-op, geriatrics, post-partum (also trained in OR for c-sections), nicu, non-profit palliative care, pediatric oncology research.

As of 2 years ago my son needs bloods done every 3 months and I’ve been doing them for him since. He has autism and major anxiety and he’s grateful I’m a nurse and we do them at home. He is able to set himself up any way he chooses and we take the time necessary to make him comfortable until he is ready. This means sometimes we chat, sometimes he meditates in silence, once we blasted music and sang together, laughed and it was so fun! I also do his weekly subcutaneous injection and he also takes an intramuscular injection every 3 months. We have a process and I wait for him to say I can count to 3 and inject. There is no way he could take his time and feel at ease in a blood taking clinic where you’re rushed in and out.

I’ve worked half my career in the West Island. Our kids grew up here, we live and work here, shop here, and I can’t think of a better way to serve my community than to bring my gentle and personalized approach to your home or office!
