Clinic Update: We Have a Temporary Home!

​We want to start by extending a huge thank you to all our valued clients for your incredible patience and understanding. We know the last few weeks have been challenging as we navigate the aftermath of the clinic fire that occurred on September 5th, dealing with insurance claims and organizing the relocation of our business.

​It has been a busy three weeks, but we are absolutely delighted to announce that we have secured a temporary clinic location.

Update from the clinic, many of you saw fire trucks this morning, and we can confirm there was a contained fire in the building. Thankfully, everyone is safe and okay. However, the fire caused significant soot and smoke damage.

Because of this, A Touch of Health will be closed for the foreseeable future while we work with the insurance company and clean up.

We are so grateful for the unbelievable response time from our fire department and the care we received.

We are greatful for the support of our incredible community and will share updates as soon as we know more.

It is with mixed sadness, but profound happiness and great pride that we worked our last shift with this young Man tonight. Francis has been working evenings and Saturdays for the clinic since grade 9. As a grade 12 graduate this year, he turns the page on this chapter of his very young book and will move onto his next. Enjoy your Ottawa U Era Francis Bazinet, I hope your time with us has been enjoyed. Not always easy working with a bunch of women, but as you always said, your sisters had you well trained 😉.

A Touch Of Health now has Reiki available for booking as soon as August 16th.

WHAT IS REIKI

Reiki is an energetic approach dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, which aims to reconnect universal energy with each individual’s own life force.
Reiki can be used as a punctual relaxation tool, on an occasional basis to alleviate a physical or psycho-emotional disorder, or as an accompaniment to certain illnesses. The practitioner accompanies the person suffering from a pathology, who may already be under medical care.

WHAT ARE THE BENIFITS OF A REIKI SESSION.

Reiki helps to relieve the body and mind, bring a feeling of gentleness, relax, encourage the self-healing mechanism and, as a result, restore a natural, calm, regular and lasting sleep, improved blood circulation, less physical pain and less stress.

WHY DO REIKI

Reiki helps to restore vital energy and strengthen the immune system. It helps to heal a wide range of conditions including migraines, body tension, back pain, exhaustion, fear, anxiety and depression.

Hi, I’m Nathalie and I’m grateful to be a part of this beautiful community. Animal and nature
lover, I spent my career caring for others as a social worker and clinical manager in our public
health system. Now recently retired, I can pursue my passion for caring through Reiki,
meditation, and a whole other bunch of tools to help us slowdown and breathe a little… because
it’s not a luxury in today’s world, but a basic need and we all deserve to do so. I hope to
welcome you to provide you with a little break, a moment of peace and release. As one of the
Reiki mantra says: “Just for today, may you release your worries.” Welcome to serenity…
