We are SO excited to share that our December Drop-Ins schedule is NOW LIVE!

From December 1-19, we invite you to visit the studio on whatever level of commitment best suits you during this busy holiday season.

While parties, shopping and holiday preparation pile up, we are excited to bring you some NEW and exciting class times to complement the demands of December!

Whether you’re keen to stick to your favourites or looking to mix things up and try one of our new classes, we look forward to moving with you in December!

DID WE MENTION: Studio Orange is giving back to the community this December, we will be collecting non-perishable food items and hygiene products for the Moose Jaw & District Food Bank. Each time you bring a non-perishable food item or hygiene product to class, be sure to enter your name for your chance to win FREE CLASSES in the New Year ✨

🪩DEDICATION: is what it takes to offer a high-quality, welcoming and unique wellness experience for ALL women.

🪩SERVICE: as one of the utmost important qualities of our studio. We want to give YOU the absolute BEST.

🪩CARE: without hesitation. Regardless of your age, activity level or wellness journey.

🪩SUPPORT: by any and all means necessary (within our scope of practice). If you need help accessing additional services, we are always here to refer out to other wellness pros.

As I prep for my third delivery, I want to share some of absolute non-negotiable when it comes to preparing for birth! Regardless of your method of delivery, these are important considerations, even if they seem like common sense!

🪩 HYDRATION: I always ensure that I have a water vessel that I like and can easily drink out of well in advance to ensure that it comes with me when the time comes. My requirements: 40 oz, insulated and a straw. This makes it easy to drink from in all stages!

🪩RELAXATION: not only for the pelvic floor but that body as a WHOLE. I religiously prep my body day and night with an Epsom salt bath to help with muscle tension and the dreaded pregnancy muscle cramps. I also compliment this with mobility/stretchy and now weekly massage appointments (36+ weeks)

🪩BREATHING: (an extension of relaxation) learning to regulate your nervous system through deep breathing is not only helpful for labour/delivery (regardless of your type of delivery) but it is also a useful coping mechanism in general. I incorporate mindful breathing during my baths, before bed and throughout the day in moments of stress.

There is no “right” or wrong way to prepare for birth but this IS your friendly reminder that YOU are in CONTROL of how you wish to prepare for the arrival of your little one.

Join us for our first ever session of Gentle Seated Yoga!

This 60 minute class offers the opportunity to participate seated or standing (chairs provided) in an intimate and intentional setting. Participants can expect to work on: strength, mobility and mindfulness throughout the duration of our session.

Join us Tuesdays from 1:00-2:00pm, November 4-December 9, women of all activity levels are welcome to join us.

*Please note: our space is mobility aid accessible

Thank you to those who came out for this afternoon's Gentle Yoga pop-up! All thanks to your interest, we are happy to launch a 6 week session commencing NEXT Tuesday, November 4-Tuesday December 9.
